Actually, the owner of the site posted awhile back that he does not mind people looking for dates or partners on this site and actually voiced his concern that telling people this isn't a dating site could turn away new members. I wish I had bookmarked that post. It was years ago.

You know in the chatroom, he eluded to that as well. Some person said, frustrated, this isn't suppose to be used for that. He said that while that isn't the primary intention provided here, he knew a few who met and fell in love here and that he was happy knowing this.

Yeah that's the attitude, we just must wait and accept His divine providence and His sovereignty, knowing His will is the best will. I think you are right though, you have to avoid the residual pain from leading your future relationships or you and her/they might find it hard to move forward in a healthy manner. I say this because I have allowed my insecurities and fears to lead and have needed His grace to heal my broken pieces. So I think since you are so in touch, it seems, with where u are at, u will be just fine. I'll be praying for you.
some yes, i just think with so many scammers out there stealing pictures and stuff, many ppl just wanna be safe and cautious
True, hard to know if ppl are really who they say they are. I guess that is another quality about our Savior that we can cherish, we know He is what He says He is. Thanks for responding, sis.
Speaking of that, a Nigerian scammer was on here a few months ago, using an American guy's pic to try and pick up women. He kept messaging myself, Jewel and several others until the mods got ahold of him..lol
THAT is why no one that I dont have in my contacts can message me.
Wow... Was he scamming for money from CC women, or just catfishing?
I wonder if he was working toward either a financial or passport scheme; as I suspect the gig would be up as soon as he attempted to meet someone in person...
hmm, Now I am curious too... to pull on this thread and dig deeper...
With the potential for catfish, scammers, and people that might be open to meeting other christians here...
Maybe you or Seoulsearch could do one of those creative polls asking how many people are here for some of these various purposes?

Well i don't like pictures for one. Two, I like being kinda mysterious lol. I also don't want any unwanted attention even though I'm a dude it can still happen. As long as I stay as some weird nerd who's probably extremely unattractive i have nothing to worry about. NOT ONLY THAT but if i ever show people what i look like it'll make it more meaningful. I want to meet one of my friends IRL eventually, he's pretty dope i wonder what people think i look like hmmmm.

Your Shini-Gami (Death God) avatar is not so mysterious. It is "Kisuke Urahara" from Anime "Bleach", onetime 'teacher' to Ichigo. It teaches some very satanic material. I know by experience, from what I once was. I would recommend to you brother, to change it and to let go of said Anime. I used to have his hat.
I don't really know? I think it might be cuz people take a lot of off guards of me so yea.... Or take pictures of me when I'm like sleep or something, plus my old phones camaras sucked so i just never got into it ig.
I picked him because i like his personality in some regards, he tends to seem very childish but is very serious that's why i chose him. Plus I kinda like how he looks so ye, the whole satanic thing though this is how i see it: God says if you're not with me you're against me so anything that isn't Christian is satanic but that doesn't mean i cant have him as my profile picture it doesn't affect anything. Also I don't watch nearly as much anime as i used to due to how they make women look at sexual temptation, plus i don't have the time but thanks for your concern. Maybe I'll change it to something else tho
