You will probably need some local Christian friends to help you. if you don't have a local church consider going to one tomorrow and asking the pastor for guidance. Maybe that will start a journey for you that will be what you needed. It's hard to advise over a chat forum without knowing many more details. Is it a marriage? Are kids involved? so many questions.
Why is it a bad relationship, what makes it bad?
In what way are you having trouble letting it go? Fear? Emotions? Something else?
As said above, more details are needed, otherwise there are only generic clichés to offer that may not apply to your situation.

Hello Samantha, I've had one bad relationship before, what I did was I committed it to the Lord, I acknowledge that it was not pleasing God. However I didn't want to hurt the man as much as I don't want to be hurt when we broke up. Our dear God is so good.. He made the best way for me to be free from that wrong relationship and it was neither of us' fault so it saved us from being bitter because of the pain from the separation..... I know God knows best how to handle yours, commit it to Him... God bless you
if it's an abusive relationship & the guy is difficult to talk to, get the police on the job. if the guy has at least some sense of compatibleness, tell him strait out that it's not going to work . write out on paper what you're going to say, practice it, get some pastoral help & tell him strait forward. most of all, get Jesus on the job.

✝Persist in prayers that God will give you Jesus' resurrection power to overcome the sinful desire to hold onto a bad relationship and to find a healthy one (read Colossians 3 many times during such prayer times. Suggestion: Find a church large enough to have groups of people in your age-range. Maybe, God has a good, mature Christian there for you.
