Hi. I thought I'd check this place out. I'm a 34 year old single guy in Texas. I've been a believer most of my life and was raised in the church (two denominations at the same time) as long as I can remember.

I like reading, watching movies and TV, I enjoy anime, I like writing, I go for walks or hikes a lot. I do struggle with depression, anxiety and insecurity but there has been growth there. I admit to being an introvert who can have a hard time wanting to be around people sometimes. I also tend to say things like that and wonder if I'm exaggerating, so we're back to insecurity lol

I guess that's me in a nutshell. I'm not sure what else to say but I like answering questions

Hi TexasGuy and it's a blessing to have you joining us!!! One of my favorite Scriptures is ' Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus' Phil 4:6-7. God is so perfect He tells us that praying will accomplish something while worry will cause grief. You're not alone I just bumped into this Scripture not too long ago myself and I think about it whenever I naturally go into worry mode. God bless you and I hope you make many new friends here

I am on the introverted side as well.. But thats why i like a text based communication sites.. and Forums are text based.. So i can be effectivly more extroverted in forums then in ""real life."" Hope you benifit from taking part.. I have found that the more one participates in forums the more one will get out of them..
