Welcome Walden21. If you seek the original scriptures and historical data that are not from Greek influence, you might have a slight problem. Working back to the original scriptures is nigh well impossible, as there are so many, often minor but sometimes significant (such as in Isaiah 19:18-25), that knowing what was original is a major issue. And avoiding Greek influence is likewise problematic as there is evidence of interaction with Greek culture even before the 1st temple.

I am aware very aware but there is more evidence and historical information out there I find myself consumed with it. On one hand it has strengthened my faith on levels I could have never fathomed in my past. However once down this path I can’t quite digging. It’s probably my path not to concern others but I put myself out there to see if others may be in the same situation. And where and what they have found.

I agree that there is a lot of evidence, but do you really want to see it all? It can either strengthen or destroy one's faith. Far too many have dug just deep enough to become atheists when they find evidence that scripture is not totally consistent with other historic records. But if you also change some basic assumptions regarding the writers, then one can find much that appears to be truth and that can strengthen one's faith.

If you know your history of Rome and Parthia well enough then you might want to look at Moses of Chorene's "History of Armenia" and just skip the "Legend of Thaddeus" which clearly does not fit. The rest of the history then flows smoothly and might be revealing some interesting points. But you need to know the interactions between Rome and Parthia from the mid 30's CE.

I happen to be interested in the orig Hebrew OT bc when I hear some Rabbis explaining the Hebrew scriptures before translation, they are very enlightening. It doesn't change the intent of the gospel history but adds much depth and insight to it. Looking forward to your posts, God bless you and yours🙏🙌

Btw on Amazon homepage, if you go to Menu and scroll down to LiveTV, then scroll down to the channel True History(TH) you'll find 'The Apocalypse: Contraversies and Meaning'. The narrator is explaining orig contexts in the OT & NT. It's very interesting. Date 6/27.
