The meme is implying that belief in God (the God of the Bible) is fundamental to rational investigation.

Belief in God entails belief in the relative stability of creation, cause-and-effect, logic, and the acceptance that reality includes things we don't (yet) know.

The unseen is proven to exist by the seen which is evidence of the unseen.

A murder crime scene testifies of the existence of a murderer.

Creation testifies of the existence of its Creator. Atheist are blind and cannot see all the evidence all around them of God’s existence.

Every time an Atheist looks in the mirror, he/she is looking directly at the image of God…. and yet does not see God… blind.

Yes, and in my experience most pastors do little to help believers in their churches learn how to help atheists
see the evidence for God (apologetics).

In gentleness of spirit, upon encountering an atheist quickly pray within yourself to God and tell God you forgive the atheist for all their sins and ask God to also forgive them… this allows God to forgive them without them repenting… once their sin is removed there is no barrier between them and God… temporarily.

Now, speak to them… just ask the atheist if they could know the truth if God does or doesn’t exist, would you want to know the Truth?

If they confess they want to know the truth, then they have given Jesus Christ an open door…

Next. ask what led them to their decision to not believe that God exists…. this will take a while… you’ll have to go back with them through their decision process to uncover the lies… give them Truth… with God’s Love and gentleness.

if you encounter pride, there’s nothing you can do for them. It will take humility to want to know the Truth.

Keep them in your prayer list and perhaps there will be another opportunity to help them.

No arguing, no strife… just God’s gentleness and wisdom.

A gentle spirit is good.
Only God can forgive sins.
Ascertaining that they are open to learning ultimate truth is good.
Going through their decision process and refuting reasons to disbelieve is the part many pastors fail to teach their church.
Thus, we need to pray for pastors as well as for atheists!
BTW, I dissect the atheist decision process in lesson 1 of our website: <truthseekersfellowship.com>

It’s healthy for us to forgive a person for all their sins before we minister to them - it gets rid of any critical judgmental spirit we might be dealing with in our flesh against them.

I know God will forgive the atheist of all their sins if I ask God to… because it’s God’s Will to do so.

The sin issue must be removed so there is no blockage between the person and God. Their sins are only removed temporarily so we can minister.

They need to repent and believe and receive the Blood and Body of Jesus Christ to be completely forgiven.
