Help with floor of Dirty kitchen

There is some old concrete floor around here which i want to improve on, but not w/ tile work or other expensive flooring. Can someone suggest something simple, like floor paints.. how to add a little nature design? If it was a mug to paint, i do have ideas, but googling for floors a bit time consuming just now, and some may have ideas... i wouldnt have to spend too much time online. Thanks a ton.

What Preacher said. Stain for color and a clear sealer to keep spills from soaking into the concrete since it will become a breeding ground for bacteria.

I couldn't even begin to recommend specific products since I have no idea what is available in the Philippines.

You can stain and polish to a high shine in one step. It's not that expensive.

That isn't entirely true.

In the painting industry we say that 90% of the paint job is in the prep and most persons preping for concrete coatings fail miserably in the prep work or they use cheap floor paints.

Even concrete sealers need to be reapplied from time to time.

I paint and it still peaks and blisters on concrete.

I wouldn't have the guts to try to tell this guy how to prep with Muriatic Acid.

Neither do i=). Actually i do know paint for wood and for concrete, but if they are for floors....? Thank you.
