Please clarify about minty peas. Is this a kind of pea or a way to prepare peas with mint? If the former, what do they taste like? If the latter, what is the recipe?

Let's just say you have a date next Saturday night and you're gonna cook them something, what is your specialty?

Do you bake them something decadent? Are you the grill master himself ?? Do you make a mean souffle? Let me know in the comments, bonus points for pictures.

Since I'm a baker, I'd either make a decent meal and finish it off with warm gooey brownies or maybe a maple bacon cake... dont knock it till you try it, or some sort of baked good .... I really dont even know the answer myself... I'll be thinking on it.
Well, if she liked seafood, then I'd probably make some shrimp scampi over some al dente linguini.

If she liked something else, then I'd be willing to experiment making it before actually serving it to her.

Quite frankly, my ideal date would be the two of us cooking something together, and maybe washing it down with a glass of cabernet sauvignon.

HOWEVER, seeing how I'm about as "in demand" as a 1970 station wagon right about now, it looks like it'll just be dinner for one.

I Hate cooking, so her expectations better be Low. An oven pizza is my idea of cooking. I heated up a can of soup a few weeks ago. First time I've used a burner in years.
As a teen I often had to make my own dinners. I did some cooking then, since it was that or starve. But I still hated it.

They had fresh oysters and salt-n-pepper shrimp at the China buffet tonight!
My tummy is so happy :giggle:
