Hey gals and guys,
Just wanted to post and say ‘Hi’ as I’m new to the site and finding my way around on here.
I’m grateful the Lord lead me onto here as the Bible says “iron sharpeneth iron” and it is such a blessing to be surrounded by fellow believers. I currently really need the fellowship!
Also, I’m curious, are there any other fellow New Zealanders on here?

Greetings. Hope you have a good time here. Be aware still, there are plenty of judgemental people who are wrong, all sorts of different denominations that have false beliefs and some that have true ones, almost every time you post about anything unless you simply say "Praise God!" and "Hello!" then you will get some negative remarks about discussing anything. Christian Chat is highly known for arguments, but then again, so is the internet social stuff in general.

Again, I hope you enjoy it though.

I just told someone else that on another message. My message here wasn't hateful. It was letting someone to understand there is still negativity from people who will hurt your feelings even on a Christian website. I'm looking out for this person with love.

The above is true but there are also many fine people here who are very helpful. Scroll through the forums to find a thread that interests you.

New Zealand is a most beautiful country....from Cape Reinga down to Stewart Island....the hot springs, the skiing, the South Island mountains, the food, etc. but especially the people. Flying a glider in the Mt. Cook area would be just super!

That is true, that is how I know they CAN have a good time. What else is there to do but chat with people? Heh there are people who will be good to you and some who won't. I'm just saying, eventually expect someone mean to eventually pop out to insult you or something because they disagree with your beliefs. but that isn't everyone.

Oh Xethea, I know that. The internet is much like society: some people are good here and some are less than good. My reply should have been just under your message but I made a mistake...my fingers are too big for my phone's screen. Xethea, I apologize.

There is indeed fellow New Zeelanders, one of them is Mel85 who is a very sweet spiritual woman who lives in Wellington. She mostly hangs out in the Conversation About Nothing In Particular thread in the Singles Forum. I am sure that she would be glad to make your acquaintance. There are also tons of peeps from Australia which is next door to you. Iron sharpening iron is what happens here. This site has been a tremendous blessing to me and pray that it proves to be a blessing to you as well as you enjoy genuine Christian fellowship. I also believe that God has indeed led you to this site as He has led many others including myself. Delighted to have you as part of our family and I very much look forward to getting to know you better through your posts. Welcome to CC.

All is forgiven, just a misunderstanding that comes here a lot.
Many times over the passed 4 years I feel like around many ppl I feel like leaving this site, but then I remember how helpful and nice it is with those kind and understanding people of the Lord that keeps me coming back.
