Hello Jim! This is a great pleasure to meet you. How do you get stubborn souls who lead good live believe in Christ? People I know think this is the best, they are financially sound and living pretty. My heart goes out to the poverty, yet this is what I witness. I am a restaurant owner, successful, and I am with the Lord. I surrendered my heart to Jesus Christ! But I am confused to how to get others to believe.
Hello. thank you for the message. Keep praying for the salvation of stubborn souls, they may resist when you preach salvation but they cannot stop your prayers from getting answered.

Hello Jim. I too am a Christian author. I thought I'd share. I am not a universalist but I am a Christian who believes in the universal salvation of all of the world throug Jesus Christ.

https://www.christianfaithpublishing.com/books/?book=without-doubt

“Without Doubt” is the creation of published author Bill Whitmire.
Whitmire shares, “There is no doubt about it, God’s purpose is to save the world and He has a plan to accomplish it in Christ. Everyone who believes Him seeks understanding without biases. Anyone who denies him is the Antichrist.
“Praise God that He will save every soul that we love. Praise God that He will save every soul that we despise. Praise God that He will save us all. Praise God that His justice is the salvation of an unjust world. Praise God that His mercy, and His grace cannot be compromised by the sins of men.
“He made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ, to be put into effect when the times reach their fulfillment— to bring unity to all things in heaven and on earth under Christ. In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will. (Eph. 1:9–11 NIV)”
Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Bill Whitmire’s new book is a compelling personal Bible study.
Whitmire’s passion for the Word of God is apparent within the pages of this charismatic discussion of Christ.
Consumers can purchase “Without Doubt” at traditional brick & mortar bookstores, or online at Amazon.com, Apple iTunes store, or Barnes and Noble.
For additional information or inquiries about “Without Doubt,” contact the Christian Faith Publishing media department at 866-554-0919.

That is not your job.
Jesus wants to save as many as he can….isn’t it my duty to help Jesus and talk to others, spread the word, teach them as I am taught?
Hello Chefloe, while it is true that we are called to be His witnesses .. e.g. Isaiah 43:10-11; Mark 16:15; Acts 1:8; 1 Peter 3:15, to share the Gospel and tell others about how the wonder of knowing the Lord Jesus Christ and being loved by Him has changed, and continues to change our lives for the better, Magenta is correct, it is the Holy Spirit who actually does the saving .. e.g. 1 Corinthians 3:6-8. So, our "job" is witnessing (helping to lead the lost closer to Christ .. or all the way to Him in some cases), His "job" is saving them.

I've heard it said that it is better to make the seed planting and watering part of witnessing our goal, rather than being satisfied with nothing less than leading someone all the way to saving faith, and I think that is both practical and wise advice (though seeing someone come all the way to saving faith is, of course, a truly WONDERFUL/WONDROUS thing to be part of whenever it happens, amen :)).

Keep up the good work in His precious Name brother :)

God bless you!!

Excuse me but why do you have a picture of a woman with purple hair any other color then the normal hair color that you have such as purple pink any of the rainbow colors are clearly signs of somebody who is either into New age mysticism which is demonic and neopaganism or the lbgtq+ pedophilia group well I pray for them daily interceding for them I certainly don't advocate and I believe we need to speak the truth in love and boldness not back down That's what Satan wants us to do to be intimidated so while I'm not judging you I find it strange that you would pick that as your picture can you please expand on why you have purple hair next to a horse as your logo picture for yourself?
I want to see what type of a so-called Christian forum this is because if this is some kind of a demonic new age thing I don't want to be a part of it thank you very much.
As an older believer who has been through everything you can imagine I know the Bible very well which is the word of God it's inherent it is alive and active and it says that we are"TEST ALL THINGS"
Most lukewarm Christians do not do that hence the reason the judgment of God is upon us and we are in the last of the last days. Please respond thank you so much!

Ecclesiastes 11:1-6 KJV
Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find it after many days.
[2] Give a portion to seven, and also to eight; for thou knowest not what evil shall be upon the earth.
[3] If the clouds be full of rain, they empty themselves upon the earth: and if the tree fall toward the south, or toward the north, in the place where the tree falleth, there it shall be.
[4] He that observeth the wind shall not sow; and he that regardeth the clouds shall not reap.
[5] As thou knowest not what is the way of the spirit, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child: even so thou knowest not the works of God who maketh all.
[6] In the morning sow thy seed, and in the evening withhold not thine hand: for thou knowest not whether shall prosper, either this or that, or whether they both shall be alike good.

It is always helpful to build up your apologetics, the ability to present a persuasive position and live out your beliefs is very powerful.

Cross Examined on YouTube is very good.
Paul did state come "let us reason" together.
I was persuaded by a powerful solid position, we as Christians have truth on our side.

I was persuaded by good Bible preachers and Bible teachers and when I heard this…..
If you die tonight, do you know where you are going?
That convinced me that I had to find out that night, where was I going after death.
Praise God He saved my soul that night.

Hello Joe, do you mean "tired" because of a general lack of sleep, or "tired" from being frustrated by your work as His witness (because you are not seeing the results that you'd like to see yet)?

Thanks :)

God bless you!!

1 Kings 17:13 KJV
And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son.

Always put God first, then He will provide your need.

I do.

Yours is a particularly tough business (especially as both chef AND owner). The Lord knows what you are facing each day at work, so I do not believe that this is something that you need to ask forgiveness for (of course, this is something that you need to discuss/confirm with the Holy Spirit).

Hopefully some balance will be found again as we continue to get further away from the pandemic (and everything that resulted from it). I know that restaurant employees have been unreliable over the last couple of years. Has this been generally true at the management level too (such that you cannot count on people to be there for you in that capacity either)?

Praying for you about this.

God bless you!!

Extremely true, most people on this planet have given up. They don’t want to work. I also witness that with this laziness comes laziness in faith, they simply don’t believe. They do not worship our Lord, Jesus Christ and simply do not acknowledge Him. It’s so unreal, yet incredibly true, like some kind of horror film. I pray for these souls that they will come to the Lord for direction. We all need it, not just them. Jesus was scorned and mocked and made fun of at times he spoke of God, this is exactly how I feel when I speak of God. People take it so lightly and actually laugh at me as if I might be unstable. My faith is strong, my heart swells when I speak of Him, I feel honestly feel Him in my heart. I wish those that don’t can experience my love for Christ. It is so easy to be evil on this planet, yet for me it is so easy to be good, even if I am surrounded by evil.

....most people on this planet have given up. They don’t want to work.
Hello again Joe, yes, I believe that "quiet quitting" is the term (from one of our younger generations), and I even saw that an Ivy League school is teaching a class (for credit) on how to get away with doing as little as possible at work (and still keep your job).

We live in a TRULY bizarre world today :(

I also witness that with this laziness comes laziness in faith, they simply don’t believe. They do not worship our Lord, Jesus Christ and simply do not acknowledge Him. It’s so unreal, yet incredibly true, like some kind of horror film. I pray for these souls that they will come to the Lord for direction.
The Lord will allow this to continue for a time, but if things don't change, I believe that He will step in again and make sure that it does.

Sadly, Persecution-R-Us according to the Scriptures .. e.g. 2 Timothy 3:12. Persecution (for even "desiring" to live a godly life) has a plus however, it can help us know where our walk is, because if we are not being persecuted (on at least a fairly regular basis) it is doubtful that we are living our lives as we should be, in a manner that is pleasing and glorifying to Him, that is.

Keep up the good work in His precious Name, but be sure to stay in regular fellowship with other believers locally .. e.g. Proverbs 13:20; 1 Corinthians 15:33, because Satan is always on the prowl .. e.g. 1 Peter 5:8, and he takes notice of all who are truly living their lives to please and glorify his hated Enemy.

Blessings to you in Christ!

~Deuteronomy
p.s. - as far as witnessing goes (and the importance that we should assign to it), I love what Spurgeon has to say in this quote of his.
