I grew up in a small Brethren Meetinggs where I gave my life to the Lord Jesus when I was 8 years old. I served as a Sunday School Teacher, the took over the Youth Ministry as well, and at age 27 I started giving the Bible messages very frequently, also visiting and serving in other meetings. I am 74 now, and still love to serve for Jesus.

Happy to hear that you still love to serve Jesus.

There are a lot of German peeps here that are members so you should feel right at home.

I was born in Landstuhl in the US Army Hospital in 1955. Lived in Eschenbach in der Ober Pfalz for 9 months until my dad got out of the US Air Force and relocated to Detroit, Michigan.

It appears that you have quite a ministry going on and I commend you for that.

Glad to have you join our community. Welcome to CC.

Hello Karl-Helmut. We are glad you have joined us. You mention in your profile that you grew up in a small brethren meeting (church) in Germany. Could this be the Unitas Fratum or Bruedergemeine Church in Germany? This is called the Moravian Chuch here in the US. This church along with the Lutheran Church was one of the early reformation churches in Germany.

Good to have you with us. Welcome! :)

It's the Brethren group also formed by John Nelson Darby from small house meetings. I am thankful that I grew into those meetings and serve there. Meanwhile I am meeting with the local free church where I live.
