Hi I’m Rick, and I’m new here. A little about me, been battling some things for a few years now. Nothing involving any kind of addictions. I feel I have hit rock bottom emotionally and realize I need some kind of help. I’ve never been a church person, I have always looked up to god for guidance and to help me through life situations.

Hi Rick, welcome to CC. It is by no mere accident that you have arrived here. I can remember back when I first joined. I never thought that I was the type that would get much out of something like this.
One day God spoke to me and told me that, If I would be willing to reach out and help other's then I would find help and hope for myself. Boy has this turned out to be true! Together, we are going to get through this, buddy. God has provided us with a wonderful family here at CC. You and I, with God's help, are going to make it even better. Welcome to CC and glad to meet you. I think we all will be in a spiritual battle with urges, temptation, etc as long as we are in the flesh. Try and read the Bible once a day esp the NT for encouragement, even I fit's for 10 minutes.
Also, this beautiful Easter week, think of the trials Jesus was going through and how He fulfilled His mission, for our sakes and to please our Heavenly Father.
