I am new to this Chat site, as I have never been on any Chat sites before that I am aware of. So this is all new to me. I am basically home bound due to a 17 yr old illness that the Doctors can't identify. So I thought this might be a good way to connect with the body of Christ since I am not able to attend Church on a regular basis. I do listen to the word with John Hagee Ministries everyday of the week except Sat it does not air. But I have been doing this for a good 7 years or more to at least get fed in Assembly. Its not anything like regular attendance to Church on Sundays. I miss the Praise and Worship in the real with the Bros n Sisters where I can really feel the Presence of God! I am worried about not being able to get Communion, I haven't partaken in this probably for a good 20 yrs n more. Is this bad? I feel it makes me dissconected with Christ. What should I do? if there is an Authority figure of Christ listening out there, like a Pastor or ??

Welcome to CC, Crimson7...
God knows your heart. I suggest you contact a local church and ask if a pastoral couple could come and have communion with you. Fellowship in person is better, but online here can be pretty good. :)

Welcome crimson 7, and it's great you have found CC. I feel for you and your situation and I would advise taking this topic to one of the general forums for more responses. Is it possible for you to have a Bible study at your place, to meet other Christians? Also, I personally don't think there is anything wrong with taking Communion alone w/the Lord. God Bless You!

I should first say it's good that God is giving you ways to connect with his word and others in the body of Christ. Second, to let you know, that although you have not been able to partake in communion , God is well and alive in you, based on what he is doing through you (taking in church in a way that gets to you, since you can nor get to it, he is bringing it to you and having you connect with other of the body of Christ, fellow Christians. What I would suggest, if you feel you are missing the partaking in communion, is reaching out (with help or if you can by your self, however tolu are lead too) to local churches and their pastors. See if they would be able and willing to come by after services or another day to give you this weekly. Seems like the Christian thing to do, if one is reaching out for help, if your able to do it.
These are my thoughts on this. Hope it helps.
Welcome again, aaannnd may God bless you with a gray many things, answers to what is going on with your body, hope and help with someone within the medical community somewhere (might be worth posting on a site for medical question, that doctors around the world post on with strange silliness and symptoms, seems like it would help, someone must know around the world...felt lead to share that with you, a medical forum of some kind that you, hopefully you, could post it on), peace, mercy and his ever lasting love...🙂🤗

Welcome aboard CC crimson7..

Salvation is not secured or maitained by taking part in religous ceremonies.. It is secured by believing Jesus and trusting in the Atonement He secured on the cross for the forgivness of our sins..

Hope you spend some time reading the Gospels and getting the Message of God right from the Source..

Hello and welcome to Christian Chat, may God richly bless you. At my church our members who are home bound, or in nursing homes, they take communion to them.

Thank you all for your helpful responses. I am going through alot lately, i can literally feel the firey darts of Hell itself hit me when trying to communicate with my kids. The Devil is really revealing his influence and destruction to me through my family. I don't like to openly say this but im tired of fighting this life. Its too painful and lonely, I just want to go home and be with the Lord. But is that where id really go if its not the Lords choice to take me? I know that answer,... thats why i struggle with this day n night. I some times say to myself, "just close your eyes and mind n do it". I need Prayer to fight this, please pray for me!!?

Hi, crimson7. 🙂

I'm sorry you are experiencing this despair, Sister. The forces of evil are real. (Ephesians 6:12) They are dark.

But I like what James says, "Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded."
James 4:7-8

The devil must be resisted. I do not mean to sound insensitive to you, dear one. I understand you feel hopeless and just want to go Home. (I look forward to Home too!) But His plan is Good and there is hope, bc our God is Victor over the one burdening you. Hang on, Crimson!

I would encourage you to praise God regularly, even if you don't feel like it. This is resisting the enemy and drawing near to God. The devil wants us to think on all that is wrong and sad and negative in our lives and the world, but we must not. Our faces must continually behold our Lord and Master.

"Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things." Philippians 4:8

I will say a prayer for you now. ❤️

"Hello, and Welcome. It matters not, but a 'crimson7, Junior Member' profile shows joined in 2014.
I pray your health issues are overcome, as miracles have been known to take place. Bless you
for keeping 'tuned' in to God, by any means. I have learned, the closest I will ever be to God,
here in the now, shall be the 'presence' of the Holy Spirit within myself. And,
Christ In Us has
profound significance, so long as one knows this 'to be' of ones own self. And, the indwelling

'presence' of God within us, this shall be of the highest sacred place under the sun. I have learned
my Spiritual 'communion' shall be available, and has been no matter where my coming and
going takes me...believe it. And, by the grace of God, I am truly thankful. I hope your life is filled

with God's Spiritual 'awareness'.
'Praise God'.......I AM YOU...YOU ARE I..........I'M ALIVE...I'M ALIVE...I'M ALIVE

Oh, thank God you found Christian Chat – this is a big portion of the battle!

You need us just like we need you, and here you’ll meet many sincere Christians who can be used by God to help you.

The fact that you haven’t taken part in Christ’s Supper for so long is not that bad; what matters is that you are seeking fellowship with the Lord. If you want God, God wants you!

You're standing the test of time and you'll see the rewards for it in Heaven. Maybe be God wants you to get closer to Him before He delivers you from this disease.

You can count on my prayers! Welcome to Christian Chat!
