Death, destruction, rejection, violence, neglect, indifference, addiction, abuse, depression, fighting, cynicism, fear, sickness, loss, pain, corruption, exhaustion, hatred, sickness, devastation, cruelty, the lonely ache, and on an on...everyone suffers, everyone will know the sting of heartache.
So why do we bother getting up or carrying on? Sometimes, I think well maybe we should just let the darkness consume us as a whole so Jesus will come back and end the torment…

Have you forgotten the sound of a child's laughter, the warmth of hugs, the compassion you see in others, the beauty of nature, that clean feeling after a hot shower, the chills you get when watching something beautiful? Remember, I bring healing. Don't negate the life long friendships that have made it through the years. What about the family I have blessed you with? Have you forgotten joy, togetherness, tenderness, peace, and love, and on and on and on? With Me, there are pleasures forever more, starting now.
Oh Lord, my true soul Mate, I am so sorry that I sometimes allow the gloom that comes with life to outshine all that You have given. I hear Your goodness louder than all the things that make life challenging. You give us so much to help us through the hardness this world brings.
