There is one, you are right. How did I miss that?
How did they get the water holy though? Just bless it?
Is the practice of splashing people in the pulpit a real practice?
I see dust had to go into the holy water though right?
And the priest shall take holy water in an earthen vessel; and of the dust that is in the floor of the tabernacle the priest shall take, and put it into the water
They dont put dust of the floor into the holy water do they?
Doesnt a woman drink it though?
Like its not splashed all over them but that holy water (with dust in it) is made to drink for some bad side effects if the person screwed up though right?

Jesus does provide. Salvation comes through him, not H20. He saves at the 11th hour. He saves one second before death. He IS the water.

At church yesterday the Priest was sprinkling holy water on the people...No I'm not Catholic,however my husband's family is and I went along with them to church fir Easter. Anyway, is this biblical at all? I know there's announcing oil.

No, and neither is the hierarchy of 'Priests'...and neither is the water 'holy'.

I am joshing with you on the rest of it, looks more like something that applies to nothing at all in an assembly so much by a similutude actually.

I just wanted how it was more literally interpreted ( given they dont do that today).

I know it might not be appropriate, coming from a heathen who calls Him Jesus, but don't you feel any obligation to at least publish a recipe for your Numbers water of mojo? If it's not too pearly, anyway, I bet even Yahweh Ben Yahweh or, what is it, crazy Buffalo Bill Hawkins in Texas would approve you providing a recipe. Or maybe at least a link to a reliable online vendor of this water, preferably who takes PayPal, if the recipe too pearly for any but the most special creatures, among the chosen few Jew-lites. You could otherwise send the entire Hebrew Roots movement to drinking from their mop pails, and would that be righteous?

There is a scientific basis of praying over water, it does changes the molecular structure of the water for the better but that can also be quickly changed once it's immediate environment changes but it does nothing for spiritual holiness, sprinkling water prayed over and touching your body does nothing.
There has been quite a lot of experiments on water, positive, loving affirming words spoken to water changes the molecular structure of water that benefits the body over water that has not been, even in a canister with the word love on it changes its structure. Water is effected either positively or negatively according to its surrounding environment.
I'm not so good at explaining things like this and I know it can sound weird but you need to watch a documentary called Water: The Great Mystery.
It's astounding how our actions and words effect the environment around us.

I've been told that you make holy water by boiling the heck out of it. The oil used in anointing is sold in the hardware store it's called 3 in 1 oil. Works good on door hinges as well.

Can you use WD-40 in a pinch, like if you're stuck on a high mountain?

I see this as the conscience as they were conscience of idols up to a certain hour

Which in the NT spoke more to consciences in these things. I can see certain connections there, but the Catholic church (i its way) seems to obscure everything into nonsense with a little of truth and myth or something.

Appreciate your point there, though having a bit of difficulty with the holy WD-40 doctrine, "In other words: something set aside for and/or designated for, God." My God would assuredly use some other means to remediate a squeaky hinge, more problematic the notion He has any squeaky hinges, or, let's not mince words, any conceivable need for WD-40. Anything contrary seems an almost Catholic or Hebrew Roots notion. I'm not even certain the Trinity concept extends to 3-IN-ONE oil, but pagan as I've recently been designated, by a minion of Buffalo Bill Hawkins here, what could I possibly know?
