You speak dishonestly. You spoke in terms of justifying sodomy on the grounds of the right to choose one's own sexual partners.

I reduce your basis of argument to an absurdity by pointing out that if men have the right to choose their own sexual partners, then they would have the right to choose children; man-boy which indeed is an agenda. Thus "right to choose sex partners" is not commendable, but an abomination. No one has any right to choose something which the Lord tells us is an abomination.

You don't have any right to choose wickedness, nor to be a pederast. There is no such sacred right as "right to choose" sin.

Of course poeple have the right to choose their sexual partners.They have that right (and have had that right) whether your religious beliefs agree with it or not. That's reality. What's absurd is you trying to synonymize two consenting adults choosing one another as sexual partners with ONE party choosing (the adult) and another party being subject to abuse because they can't consent (the child).

Choice has to be consensual, otherwise it isn't choice.

What does all that have to do with the fact that homosexual behavior is perverted and now folks want us to approve their sexual perversions and promote it in our society?

You mean like adultery or prostitution? Two consenting adults....makes it right...why not three etc... do any of you folks who support this perverted and deviant behavior, really even consider the logic you are using?

Of course they are "demanding" that the whole society accept and approve their perversions and that they deserve special rights based on their sexual lust.

I have no problem with consenting couples bringing other people into their bedrooms. Neither does any state nor Western country's legal system. The morality of that is secondary to the right of people to choose to do it or not. Whether it's right or wrong, people are allowed to decide for themselves. As for prostitution, it's legal in the UK. Socially frowned upon, yea, but legal.

Criminalizing prostitutes never got rid of the problem. Offering alternatives and destigmatizing it has done more to that effect.

Your God, as far as the law's concerned, is little more than a figment of your imagination. Anyone can make up a god and say he thinks it's okay to be moral lord over you. But you'd have to disagree with that notion wouldn't you? And I stand up for any human's right to do so. No person, by the law, should be subject to bondage in the laws of somebody else's religious beliefs.

Nobody forces you to be gay. You shouldn't force anyone to not be.

I believe in a free society...I don't believe sexual deviants have the right to force their deviant behavior on the rest of society.

As for that "society" you're supposedly defending against deviance, it's made up of millions of straight people who don't think that you and your ilk should be shoving your oppressive teachings down peoples' throats. But they tolerate you. 'Bout time you tolerated everyone else.

Well it don't matter if you think that what the law says ...because the law says that my right to believe and practice my faith cannot be challenged by anyone...have you ever read the constitution? "the law of the land"

Sure they are..they now demand by force of law that everyone accept and approve their sexual perversions...that's what just happened in the supreme court...don't you understand how our legal system works?

And I guess we will see if our society accept this illegal ruling by the supreme court...many of us will not and plan to make a stand against this insanity.

Your faith certainly can be, and is, challenged by people. I could hold an anti-Christian rally outside your house if I wanted. But I wouldn't do that, because I'm not a jerk.

They demand the right to do what they want with their own private lives. To choose their own consensual relationships. And they got it because it's absurd that an increasingly minor religion should have the moral sway over millions of people who don't believe in it, in a multicultural society.

You're just gonna have to live with the fact that you don't anymore, and never will again, have moral supremacy over gay people in America. I would never expect you to look at me and grant me moral authority over you. Yet you expect gay people to just bow to your claims to the moral throne? Of course they won't.

Nobody's forcing you to be gay. Nobody's forcing you to accept it. You obviously don't accept it. What people are forcing you to do is recognize that actually, you don't have any power to be approving or disapproving the rights of others.

No this is not about their private lives...and there are many laws that restrict what folks can do in private...

This is about PUBLIC law and the PULBLIC being forced to approve perverted sexual behavior.

The public are being forced to approve sexual behaviour by what? By not being involved when gay people get married in private family ceremonies in registry offices and hotels? lol

First of all, a very, very large portion of the public don't NEED to be forced. They already DO approve. Second of all, Christian right wingers are about the only group in the US who disapprove.
