Its not. People are born a sexuality. No one can choose to just be attracted to a certain gender.

Just curious have you had a doctor test your hormone levels or brain chemistry makeup, though I know it may be costly to check everything that make us man or woman and or the attraction mechanism in the brain.... but in my view it's a underlying defect of the body either on the surface or deep within the body. When we have authority over sin, we can also have authority over pour thought life. Don't you know that Satan can plant thoughts and impressions in our heads? Someone who has been born again and has experienced the goodness of God, and has met the Saviour, Jesus Christ personally, cannot call himself a sinner any longer. Apostle John speaks on the struggling Christian in 1 John 5:14-17, as he speaks on sin that leads to death and sin that does not lead to death. The sin that leads to death is the unrepented sins that are acted on, not the thoughts !!!

It also speaks on a Christian who has repented but is still struggling to stop committing their sin/s, we are to pray for them to keep moving forward and letting the Holy Spirit help them to overcome their sin.......Yet their salvation is not in jeopardy !!!

Salvation only comes in jeopardy if the one completely walks away from the faith in Jesus !!!

Notice how Jesus in this passage says "looks at a woman to lust for her"..........

That means that the intention is grown far beyond just a thought and feelings have taken over to the point the person wants to act it out. Even though the physical act has not taken place yet, Jesus is saying getting to this point is just as bad because if the opportunity presented itself we would not stop from carrying it out.

This has gone beyond just a mere thought and has grown into covetous want, the next step is the actual physical act.

1 John 5:14-17 talks about the struggling Christian and the sins that lead to death and sins that don't..........

Sins that don't lead to death are repented of sins that have been stopped or the person is still struggling with them but wants to stop. Sins that lead to death are unrepented sins that a person still deliberately and willfully continue doing !!!

Gay people can completely turn their lives around in Christ, and I have seen it happen, but we should not be condemning or saying a person is condemned who is still struggling in this way to stop it !!!

We are not to condemn others any way, and we are always to operate in Love, Mercy, and Forgiveness !!!
