How am I supposed to have faith that I'll get a girlfriend if...

I hate to poke holes in what you said here but there was that small incident with hagar. The result was the creation of what we now call the arab world and Islam

By the way, you think you've got it bad? I've been turned down by a woman I hadn't even asked out. She told others I had and made a joke out of the whole thing. I wasn't even interested in her. Talk about bursting a man's ego.

Not quite. Arabs came from different tribes altogether. Ishmael produced the Ishmaelites, and they had a history of their own apart from the arabs. What you said is a myth that muslims propagate in order to give validity to their religion, as if they have some sort of claim on Jewish ancestry and a right to Jerusalem and other Jewish holy places. Islam started a few hundred years after Christianity, so it is impossible that this 'new' religion has anything to do with biblical history. Before that, the arab tribes were decidedly pagan...so will we argue that pagans come from Abraham?

Same spiel as usual, Dothack: Get out there, meet people. Join a club or group, network, etc. You'll eventually meet some nice ladies.

Don't forget the old joke about the guy dying at sea. He turned away three rescue helicopters because "God would save him." He dies, goes to Heaven and says, "God, why didn't you save me!?" and God replies, "Dude, I sent three helicopters!"

:P Take some initiative on meeting ladies, and indeed people in general.

Seriously, I have no real friends that are girls. I've never kissed a girl, or done anything fun with a girl(non-sexually(sadly...) or sexually). Even when I was thinking about when I was around my friends at the Bible study. I was also getting depressed about how I'm not growing as fast as a Christian as then. Then they started talking about how much I've grown as a Christian over the last 6 months. But it's like God was avoiding the subject about the girls. Really, I don't have much hope at all in the natural or from God that I'll ever get a girlfriend...

Small steps Dothack. And don't worry about it. The second you make talking to a girl any different than talking to your guy friends, you've erred. That's the real trick man. It's no big deal, girls are people too, haha. Then you'll be more comfortable around girls, less shy. And, you'll worry a lot less about not getting a girlfriend, and can concentrate and life and God. Then perhaps He'd lead you into a good situation.
 
If you stop looking and following your flesh-leave it to God-God will lead you to her and her to you-this will happen,omly if Gods will.
I wouldnt search-seek God - if you are meant to be with someone God WILL make it happen,But in His time,not yours.

there was a man who was talking to god.
god said to him son,a minute to me is a lifetime to you.
and so they continued for awhile.
the man said-God,you say ask and it shall be given to me,right?
Of course God replied yes,My son!
and so the man then asked him-Father can you give me a million dollars?
