Nope....
Luke details the 4 types of sins.

Sins of ignorance
Sins of negligence/inaction
Planned Sins
Sin of being unforgiving/no grace extending.

All carry the exact same penalty....as there is only one penalty for sin: DEATH

All the Law and Prophets hang upon what TWO commandments Jesus said?

Yeah....so we can most certainly identify Sins. None are with sufficient excuse.
I agree that all sin calls for the same penalty and that sin is defined in the Bible. But Jesus also tells us to let the person without sin begin the punishment of the sinner.

Now which of us is free enough of our own sin by our own merits to get overly concerned with someone else's?

When they promote a particular sin as something we should do.

And that's what we call "blasphemy of the Holy Spirit". Where something evil is lauded as good or something good is lauded as evil.

This is the internet, we have all sorts of people telling us we should take recreational drugs for imagined health benefits....then there's the "Wife Swappers for Christ" and Christian Pedophiles....

Reacting to specific sinful actions is supported by Paul, but great care must be exercised even when doing such. Condemn the sin, not the sinner.

I feel VERY comfortable condemning the promoter of sins as well as the sin being promoted. We ARE told to Judge fruits...identify wolves in sheep's clothing....and to have NOTHING to do with these people as a warning to others to do the same.

So....
Now exactly what ground is it do you have left for your soapbox?

ZERO.

Sin is sin, we aren't here to be handwringing over it or play footsie with sin. We are to condemn it and have nothing to do with it.

How do you separate the sin from the sinner? How do you deal with your own sinful nature that will not be removed until God actively removes it, not forgives it but actively removes it so that it no longer clouds your judgement.

I recognize that I am a forgiven sinner, but that I must still battle against the sin within myself and that still-present sin interferes with my judgement of other individuals.

As one just as guilty as the person you would condemn, you have ZERO basis for condemnation of the other.

EVERYONE is a sinner.

No one has attained "one step away from sinless perfection".

But the ongoing process of removing sin from your life is called "sanctification ".

And it needs to be ongoing.
As in "continually work out your salvation in fear and trembling "

We do not just accept sin....as we can never truly get rid of all of it. But the picking up of the struggle to rid ourselves of sin is how we qualify for Heaven and for being forgiven.

Precisely, and the process limits our ability to worry about the sin in another person. We may condemn their sinful actions, but we are called to love them, not condemn them along with their sin.

But this is a thread about FALSE PROPHETS and PHONEY LEADERS.

And where even Leaders may not be "one step away from sinless perfection" that still doesn't license the promotion of empty new practices, rules, food abstaining or activity abstaining while adopting new actions that are sinful.

You lack the integrity to address me directly and instead employ this pathetic passive-aggressive shaming.

The forbidden fruit is long gone. What remains is temptation to sin.

Telling you that you are wrong when you are wrong has nothing to do with either temptation or forbidden fruit. You just don’t like being the target of plain corrective statements.
The forbidden fruit is long gone. What remains is temptation to sin.
This belief is a completely contrary to the words of God.

The story of the forbidden fruit is a words of God.

It is very clear what the Lord Jesus said.
The words of God will never pass away.
MATTHEW 24:35
35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

If you can't identify who God the Father is. He will never give you an understanding for the truth.
PROVERBS 2:6
For the Lord giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.

And so God's words remains mystery.
MARK 4:11
11 And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables:

Therefore: Ecclesiastes 1:9 is unacceptable to the people who can't identify who God the Father is.

Yes, to love them is the right thing to do, because that is the 2nd commandment of God.
Mark 12:31
31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

To show the love for themn is by sharing the truth.
Because they are a bondage of themselves.
They are slaves to their own dependence by using human wisdom & emotions to the words of God.
They must be free and it is only the truth that can set them free.
JOHN 8:32
32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

More empty ignorance from you.

More empty ignorance from you.
Whoever can't identify who God the Father, is considered as natural man and all the truth that comes from God is foolishness unto him.
Because all beliefs in the word of God come only from human interpretation
1 CORINTHIANS 2:14
14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

You persist with this silly trope despite having absolutely no evidence that it is relevant to anyone here.

This is the True Gospel of God that Paul preached:
To know the One True God.
ACTS 26:10:18
10 Which thing I also did in Jerusalem: and many of the saints did I shut up in prison, having received authority from the chief priests; and when they were put to death, I gave my voice against them.
11 And I punished them oft in every synagogue, and compelled them to blaspheme; and being exceedingly mad against them, I persecuted them even unto strange cities.
12 Whereupon as I went to Damascus with authority and commission from the chief priests,
13 At midday, O king, I saw in the way a light from heaven, above the brightness of the sun, shining round about me and them which journeyed with me.
14 And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.
15 And I said, Who art thou, Lord? And he said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest.
16 But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee;
17 Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee,
18 To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

Because only through knowing the One True God can a persons sins be forgiven.
JEREMIAH 31:34
34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the Lord: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
“And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the Lord: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.”

Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David. Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭55:3, 6-7‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”
‭‭John‬ ‭5:24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.”
‭‭John‬ ‭12:48‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God;”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭1:1‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.”

Then drew near unto him all the publicans and sinners for to hear him.

And the Pharisees and scribes murmured, saying, This man receiveth sinners, and eateth with them.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭15:1-2‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:

but if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6:14-15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little. And he said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven. And he said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭7:47-48, 50‬ ‭KJV‬‬

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭1:9-10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful. Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven: give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall be given into your bosom.

For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭6:36-38‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.”
‭‭John‬ ‭14:6-7‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The gospel teach us who he is and how he is towards us

Our Lord Jesus Christ gave us a great warning about False Christ & Prophets

MATTHEW 24:23-24
23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.

24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
Christ will not come down to earth at the Second Coming, thus is they say here is the christ beware..

The truth is:
When it comes in spiritual things.
No person has the right to say what is right and wrong.
Because accordin to the Lord no one is good.
ROMANS 3:10-12
10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.
12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

The false Prophets doesn't believe Romans 2:10-12.
They think highly of themselves, so they feel confident enough to say what is right and wrong.

But the chosen of God (real Prophets) who believe Romans 3:10-12.
So they only share the truth that the Lord Jesus revealed to them.

Paul & Bernabe just made a testimony and never said to the Jews who did not believe them that "You are wrong".
Instead they said to those who believe them "We are also men like you"
ACTS 14:1-4, 11-15
14 And it came to pass in Iconium, that they went both together into the synagogue of the Jews, and so spake, that a great multitude both of the Jews and also of the Greeks believed.
2 But the unbelieving Jews stirred up the Gentiles, and made their minds evil affected against the brethren.
3 Long time therefore abode they speaking boldly in the Lord, which gave testimony unto the word of his grace, and granted signs and wonders to be done by their hands.
4 But the multitude of the city was divided: and part held with the Jews, and part with the apostles.

11 And when the people saw what Paul had done, they lifted up their voices, saying in the speech of Lycaonia, The gods are come down to us in the likeness of men.
12 ;And they called Barnabas, Jupiter; and Paul, Mercurius, because he was the chief speaker.
13 Then the priest of Jupiter, which was before their city, brought oxen and garlands unto the gates, and would have done sacrifice with the people.
14 Which when the apostles, Barnabas and Paul, heard of, they rent their clothes, and ran in among the people, crying out,
15 And saying, Sirs, why do ye these things? We also are men of like passions with you, and preach unto you that ye should turn from these vanities unto the living God, which made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein:

The false Prophets demand money from people.

The real Prophets did not take money from people.
This is what Apostle Paul claimed.
He financed his ministry using his personal funds.
ACTS 20:33-35
33 I have coveted no man's silver, or gold, or apparel.
34 Yea, ye yourselves know, that these hands have ministered unto my necessities, and to them that were with me.
35 I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

If you're anything like me
Your far too engaged in the daily battle between spirit v flesh to be distracted by such thoughts
The Spirit is the soft gentle voice whispering
This is the way
Walk ye in it
The flesh shouts
No
The opposite way
The way of arguments
Self justification
And general unkindness
Is the way
This is the anti Christ
It's not someone or something else
Out there
It's within
Just like described
Surprisingly accurately in the bucks fizz number one hit
Land of make-believe
And I quote
Something nasty in your garden waiting patiently so it can have your heart
Concentrate on the real enemy
And suddenly
Like the blues brothers
You too
Will daily
Be
On a mission from God
May The Spirit of Pure Love fill your heart
