You can call it what you like but it remains an accusation. Step up with the evidence, or shut up and don’t mention it again.

Give the evidence that you passed the test.

You are afraid to yourself to face the truth that you failed the test. There is nothing wrong with admitting this before God.

The truth is.
The true prophets’ knowledge of the one true God comes directly from God, not from any human being.
Read these verses carefully.
I hope God will give you an understanding (Proverbs 2:6)

To know the real Jesus, it must be a revelation from God.
MATTHEW 16:15-17
15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?
16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
17And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

When Jesus is known according to the revelation of the Father, the Father is also known at the same time.
JOHN 8:19
19 Then said they unto him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also.
This is the reason why God commanded His chosen to apply the test.
1 JOHN 4:2-3
2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

Because my recognition to Jesus is a revelation from the Father so I know who is the Father. But it doesn' mean I will answer your question "Who is the Father".

Because the Lord Jesus strictly instructed that His chosen ones should not be the ones to present or introduce Him to the people.
MATTHEW 16:20
20 Then charged he his disciples that they should tell no man that he was Jesus the Christ.

And so do not ask me Who is the Father.
Instead ask God who is he.
I'm finding it impossible to understand what your points are. I thought we were discussing your question of Who God the Father is, and you provide verses that speak about Who God the Son is. You then say that you will not answer my question (which, incidentally, was not "Who is the Father?" but "What would your answer be to the question, "Who is the Father?"" You then quote a verse where Jesus commands His disciples that they should not tell anyone that He, the Son, is the Christ. Apart from being a command about the Son, not the Father, it was only temporary anyway, unless you contend the the apostles were being disobedient when they later preached that Jesus is the Christ. For example:

(Joh 20:31) but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name.

(Act 18:5) When Silas and Timothy had come from Macedonia, Paul was compelled by the Spirit, and testified to the Jews that Jesus is the Christ.

It may be my fault that I don't understand you, in which case I apologise.

You made the accusation; you provide the evidence.

That’s how it works.

You reject that because you are stubborn and lack integrity.

You are afraid to yourself to face the truth that you failed the test. There is nothing wrong with admitting this before God.

It will never happen that understanding of the truth comes from ourselves.

To understand what is the truth. It must be come from God.
PROVERBS 2:6
6 For the Lord giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.
One must first come to know the One True God. What follows is an understanding of His word.

To come to know the one true God, it requires humility.

Do you know the one true God who is seated on a throne?
REVELATION 4:2
2 And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.

If you do not know Him, are you able to humble yourself and admit before God that you do not know Him?
Let us remember that the Lord Jesus cannot be deceived, for He does not depend on the words that come out of a person’s mouth. Rather, God looks at what is in a person’s heart
MATTHEW 15:8
8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.

You made the accusation; YOU PROVIDE THE EVIDENCE.

You have no other options.

I do know God. I know that understanding of God's truth comes from God. What I don't know is what you mean when you keep asking who God the Father is. Are you asking us to give a name (Yahweh, or Jehovah, perhaps), or a description of Who He is, or what? I agree with you that God looks at the heart.

You made the accusation; YOU PROVIDE THE EVIDENCE.

You have no other options.

The evidence is very clear that you failed the test.

Until now you can't identify who God the Father is.
And so you don't know the Jesus who come in the flesh.

Jn 16:25
I have spoken these things to you in figures of speech. An hour is coming when I will no longer speak to you this way, but will tell you plainly about the Father.

Althoug there are different versions of the Holy Bible. God will not allow His chosen ones to be deceived. But instead, the correct version will be taught to them. He guides them in reading the Holy Scriptures so that falsehood may be revealed.

The name Yahweh or Jehovah is not the name of God.
Look, when Moses asked God the Father about his name. God the Father did not give a name.
EXODUS 3:13-14
13 And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them?
14 And God said unto Moses, I Am That I Am: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I Am hath sent me unto you.

I AM THAT I AM or I AM is not a name.

So that God can prove that He originally had no name in the Old Testament yet. This is what He said.
Look at the tense he used. It is a future tense. The name of God will only be known in the future.
Therefore; from Genesis to Isaiah. God has no name yet.
But God the Father revealed his name to his chosen only as he said (my people shall know my name: therefore they shall know in that day).
ISAIAH 52:6
6 Therefore my people shall know my name: therefore they shall know in that day that I am he that doth speak: behold, it is I.

That is why God commanded his chosen that a test be made to distinguish true prophets from false ones. And anyone who does not know God is not from God.

This test was applied by Lord Jesus to the Scribes & Pharisees. And they failed the test.
JOHN 8:41, 54-55
41 Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God.
54 Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God:
55 Yet ye have not known him; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying.

Question.
Where did the name Yahweh or Jehovah come from? You can search it on the internet.

Can I ask again?
Who is God the Father?

Jn 16:25
I have spoken these things to you in figures of speech. An hour is coming when I will no longer speak to you this way, but will tell you plainly about the Father.

JOHN 16:25
25 These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall shew you plainly of the Father.

You made the accusation; YOU PROVIDE THE EVIDENCE.

You have no other options.

We can present more evidence that you failed the test.

God makes His name known to His chosen ones.
ISAIAH 52:6
6 Therefore my people shall know my name: therefore they shall know in that day that I am he that doth speak: behold, it is I.

And you still failed to name him.

With God's revelation. You can be compared to the Scribes and Pharisee. Although they preached the word of God, they were not of God, because they failed the test.

JOHN 16:25
25 These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall shew you plainly of the Father.
Ok. Speak plainly then. Or are you just being a parrot?

How can you believe a person who does not know God? According to God, those who do not know Him are blind. If you let a blind person lead you (or believe them), you are like a blind person being led by another blind person, and both of you will fall into a pit.
JOHN 9:40-41
40 And some of the Pharisees which were with him heard these words, and said unto him, Are we blind also?
41 Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth.

MATTHEW 15:14
14 Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.

But where do the verses 1 John 4:2-3 even mention being able to identify God the Father? They mention knowing the Spirit of God, confessing that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh, and being either "of God" or "not of God." But as far as I can see, nothing about identifying God the Father.

Sorry, I only gave "Yaweh" and "Jehovah" as examples of what I meant when I asked you what you meant by your question, "Who is God the Father?" Are you expecting us to answer with a name, a description, or what?
