"Empty posturing" ? It's just simple logical Biblical fact.
No, it's just your empty opinion with absolutely nothing in the way of evidence to back it up.

IF you had the Righteousness of Jesus in you, by the indwelling of His Holy Spirit, you would talk and represent Jesus, rather than the god of this world, and you would NOT be contrary to obeying the Will of Jesus' (our) Father, as you consistently teach. Easy peasy logic !! :)
If you had ANY integrity WHATSOEVER, you would stop making accusations without evidence.

Dino ! I keeping trying, but you will not understand until you repent and are baptized, converted to having the Christ and HIS Righteousness, His Holy Spirit IN YOU. ( He in you and you in He ) ( That will become evident by your wanting to by LOVE, to "Keep God's Sabbath Day, in Honor & Obedience, to Our Creator ). ( ALL 10 Commandments )

Quit trying to be Righteous (self-righteous) by your own "self", "your works" , you can not do it, Tis impossible !

Being a Natural Man, as you are now, walking only in the flesh, you will NOT understand spiritual matters, concerning yourself or anyone else. .. Please Repent of your evil affinities, your eniquity towards God !!

1Co 2:14-16
But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But WE have the mind of Christ. ( & His Spirit indwelling, per Gal 2:20 )

This passage teaches that individuals without the Holy Spirit ("natural man") are spiritually blind and incapable of understanding divine truths, which appear as foolishness to them. Understanding requires spiritual discernment provided only by the Spirit

John 3:6 That which is born of the flesh, is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit, is spirit.

Rom 8:7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

Wow, me got another mention why me so lucky man?

I must be doing something right.

I have seen the following verses mentioned more than most other verses in the N.T.

1 John 2:3
By this we know that we have come to know Him, if we keep His commandments.

1 John 2:4
The one who says, “I have come to know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

The question then arises; what commandments is John referring to?

Well, in the next chapter of 1 John we see John has written the commandments.

1 John 3:23-24
This is His commandment, that we believe in the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, just as He commanded us.
The one who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. We know by this that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.

That's how I know which commandments John is referring to.

If John was referring to the law he would have said.

You must believe in Jesus and follow the law which is what the Catholic Church states.

That's how I know I am not under the law.

We are under grace and not under the law.

the law as a standard of righteousness.
Big mistake.

You cannot generate your own righteousness.

You are dead in your sin already.

There is no standard of righteousness that any person could achieve.

We have the perfect righteousness of Christ as a gift.

The law condemns and has already condemned you.

Read the text and find the answers.

Anyone who knows the one true God shares the truth freely and does not issue commands, for only God has the authority to command.
MATTHEW 10:8
8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.

FALSE PROPHETS:
False prophets see themselves as superior to others.
LUKE 18:11
11 The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.

REAL PROPHETS:
True prophets see themselves as sinners, which is why they ask God for mercy.
LUKE 18:13
13 And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.

Perhaps you can help me. I have been following this thread for quite a while now, and I cannot remember reading any post from any of the five people you mention where they deny or argue against the righteousness of Christ by faith. Perhaps you can quote examples of them arguing against such a thing. I assume you are talking of the righteousness the apostle Paul mentions in this verse:

(Php 3:9 NKJV) and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith;

It would be wrong to argue against such righteousness, but I haven't seen anybody here doing so.

4. Galatians 3:1-12 — "Works of the Law" vs. Obedience of Faith

The "works of the law" in Galatians refers to circumcision and the ceremonial system — the badges of Jewish identity the Judaizers insisted Gentiles must observe to be saved:

The "Book of the Law" in Galatians 3:10 refers to the book of Moses (Deuteronomy 31:26) — the ceremonial and civil statutes placed beside the ark. The Decalogue, by contrast, was written by God's finger and placed inside the ark (1 Kings 8:9).
When Paul says "the law is not based on faith" (v. 12), he contrasts two systems of approach to God: law-as-justification ("do and live" — impossible since all have sinned) versus faith ("the righteous shall live by faith"). He is not saying the Ten Commandments are anti-faith. He is saying attempting to be justified by law is contrary to faith.
There is a world of difference between "I keep the Sabbath to earn salvation" (condemned) and "I keep the Sabbath because I love God and He commanded it" (commended). Scripture plainly links faith and obedience as inseparable:

In Hebrews 11 — the great faith chapter — every example of faith is accompanied by obedience: Abel offered, Noah built, Abraham went out, Moses kept the Passover. Faith and obedience are never set in opposition.
Christ Himself said:

5. The Sabbath in Particular

The Sabbath was instituted before sin (Genesis 2:1-3) — making it part of God's original creation order, not part of the ceremonial system dealing with sin.
It was included in the moral Decalogue, written by God's finger:

It was observed by Christ:

It was observed by the apostles:

And it will be observed in the New Earth:

If the Sabbath were merely ceremonial, it would not predate sin, would not be in the Decalogue, and would not continue in eternity. Christ Himself declared its enduring purpose:

The Sabbath was made "for man" — all mankind — at creation, long before there was a Jew or a ceremonial system.

Conclusion: The Fatal Flaw

The argument collapses because it cannot distinguish between the law as a means of salvation and the law as a standard of righteousness. Paul condemns the former; he never condemns the latter:

The final description of God's people in Scripture unites commandment-keeping and faith in Jesus as one reality — not as opposing systems. The fruit of the Spirit and the commandments of God are not rivals. They are the interior and exterior expressions of the same transformed life: a life walking in communion with the Creator — as it was in Eden, and as it shall be in Heaven.

Perhaps you could quote somebody saying such a thing, because I, for one, cannot recall ever reading anybody write that. it is impossible and biblically incorrect to say that a sinner can be saved without the righteousness of Christ and without the Holy Spirit.

Thank you for asking this question, as I needed it to prompt me to address questions and objections from @Gideon300 , @Inquisitor , @pinebeach , @Dino246 , @WiselyWoven , @GWH . PLUS it given me a refreshing excuse to come in out of the heat and enjoy lunch in the AC, while composing this reply... As I've tried to tell many of these folks, Christ doesn't save us IN OUR SIN, but FROM OUR SINS.. by His Holy Spirit, ... Indwelling ! This is HOW Christ Saves, by replacing our stony heart, with the Likes of HIS. ! Praise The Lord !!!

Scripture firmly establishes that salvation is by grace alone through faith, but it also unequivocally teaches that true, saving grace never negates obedience to God's commandments. In fact, the biblical definition of being saved by grace means that the very righteousness of Christ—His Holy Spirit—dwells within the believer, actively producing the same obedience that Jesus demonstrated.

Therefore, anyone who uses "grace" as an argument against keeping God's commandments demonstrates that they do not actually possess the indwelling Spirit of Christ.

The Apostle Paul beautifully harmonizes salvation by grace and the necessity of obedience in Galatians 2:19-21.

1. Saved by Grace Alone: Dead to the Law to Live Unto God

We cannot earn salvation by our own human efforts of keeping the law. We are saved entirely by grace. However, dying to the law as a means of earning salvation is meant to lead us to a life of obedience, not a character of rebellion, as Satan would have us.
  • Galatians 2:19 (KJV): "For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God." To be "dead to the law" means a person no longer relies on their own fleshly ability to keep the law for justification. The law condemned them, so they died to it. But notice the purpose: "that I might live unto God." Living unto God requires absolute harmony with His will and His Moral Law. Grace removes the condemnation of the law so that we can finally live a life pleasing to God. As Christ pleased The Father, by His Righteousness, His "right-doing" to be "The Lamb of God"

2. The Proof of Grace: Christ's Perfect Obedience Living in Us

How does a believer "live unto God"? It is not by human willpower, but by the miraculous indwelling of Christ's Holy Spirit.

  • Galatians 2:20 (KJV): "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me." True grace means self is crucified, and Christ lives in the believer. Because Jesus Christ perfectly kept His Father’s commandments when He walked the earth (John 15:10), His Spirit will do the exact same thing when He dwells in a Christian. Therefore, if a person claims to be saved by grace but argues against keeping God's commandments, they are claiming to have Christ inside them while rejecting Christ's character. If "Christ liveth in me," then Christ's obedience. His Righteousness lives in me.

3. Frustrating the Grace of God

Paul concludes his thought by warning against misunderstanding how true righteousness operates.

  • Galatians 2:21 (KJV): "I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain." If a person tries to keep the commandments in their own human strength to earn salvation, they frustrate grace. However, asserting that grace gives us a license to break the commandments also frustrates grace, because the entire purpose of grace is to deliver us from sin (the transgression of the law, 1 John 3:4). True grace imparts Christ's righteousness to us. We do not keep the law to be saved; we keep the law because we are saved and the Lawgiver lives within us.

4. Arguing Against the Commandments Proves the Absence of the Spirit

Scripture is clear that a hostile attitude toward God's commandments is not evidence of grace; it is evidence of a carnal heart devoid of the Holy Spirit.

  • Romans 8:7-9 (KJV): "Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his." The "carnal mind" fights against the law of God. If a person argues that Christians do not need to keep God's commandments, Romans 8 identifies that person as walking "in the flesh." They do not have the Spirit of God dwelling in them, and therefore, "he is none of his."

5. True Grace Establishes the Law

Because we are saved by grace through the faith of Jesus Christ, our faith does not destroy the commandments; it provides the only way to truly keep them.

  • Romans 3:31 (KJV): "Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law."
  • 1 John 2:4 (KJV): "He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him."

Summary

Being saved by grace alone does not negate keeping God's commandments; it is the very mechanism that makes keeping them possible. According to Galatians 2:19-21, a saved person is crucified with Christ, and the Holy Spirit now lives Christ's righteous, obedient life through them. Therefore, those who argue against keeping God's commandments are speaking from a carnal mind. By opposing God's Moral Law, they present biblical proof that they do not have the righteousness of Christ or His Holy Spirit dwelling in them, because the true Christ will never lead a person to rebel against the Father's commandments.

Right ! They don't mention the "Righteousness of Christ" because they don't have it, & don't want it, preferring to keep their SIN.

This is evidenced by their "Religion of Disobedience" and making fun of God's Holy 7th Day Sabbath, His Sign of Authority. Not understanding obedience as the supremely important product of our God's Grace towards us, freely given to us as His Son Jesus.

After having read my explanation of Righteousness by Faith, being Christ's Righteousness dwelling IN US, ... The Messages of the Three Angels

Rev 14:6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,

Rev 14:7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him;
( Honor & Obey ) for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters. <~ Sabbath reference

Rev 14:8 And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.
(Babylon = this false disobedient religion, overtaking the world)

Rev 14:9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
( the Beast = RCC, the mark (MOTB) the Sunday sacredness law )

Rev 14:10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

Rev 14:11
And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

Rev 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
( God's remnant church, God's chosen people, The "obedient" children of God ) ( including myself, judged worthy & known by Jesus, I PRAY! AMEN ! )

Rev 14:13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them. AMEN !!

( God's Church, will then "rest" having Sabbath with Christ in Heaven, having been judged by our fruits of Love & Obedience,
to God AND our neighbors. ( which is what I'm doing here in this CC forum ) ( Just doin' what I'm told.) Praise God !! & Amen !

You have no evidence for your first accusation (and you know it) so to avoid accountability, you dodge and throw another.

The truth is that you are a false accuser with no evidence, no integrity, and no hope outside of repenting for your sin.

Individuals are responsible before God to repent for their sin. All sin is against God; most sin is also against another person.

In order for reconciliation between persons, repentance is also needed, person to person.

I have authority to forgive sin done to me. I have no authority to forgive sin done to another. I can, however, stand on the authority of Scripture and declare that another person is forgiven by God.
