In order for a person to get into the body of Christ they need to believe the Gospel. No one in the Old testament was put into the body of christ when they believed what they had to believe.

What do you think the Garden of Eden was about? We had a spiritual death ..we became separated from God the Father.
Is opening the door and seeing the light the same thing? Is the cross dual purposed as the sins of the world and a door to life/truth?

There's no water in Eph 1.13 . Romans 10 9-15. 1 cor 15 .1-4 .
No water here 1 cor 12 .
13For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
The term baptised doesn't always mean water .
Nothing like this is said in any of Paul's letters . Thats 13 whole letters .
There is difference between being in Christ so He can atone for our sins and being baptized into Him.
We were not in him before we get in him . That is not Christianity to be in Christ apart from the death and resurrection. Sounds like we have another victim of calvinistic teachings .

There is a lot to say about the different uses of fleshly in context. It is of the flesh to debate. It is also flesh to commit fornication. It is flesh to adhere to legalistic ordinances thinking that they earn your rightstanding with God.
There is a carnal mind that is thinking that wisdom is related to eloquence when the wisdom from God is the Power of God and the foolishness of preaching the cross. To the wise in this world (carnal) it is foolishness.
As stated in the scripture you posted those who practice fornication are not going to inherit the kingdom of heaven therefore it is impossible to call them carnal christians. They are deceived and will wake up in hell with eternal regret having discovered that they were not part of the "Christians" in truth but only falsely claiming to be of that number. There is a carnal Chiristian and they are needing to repent of their immaturity but it is not related to drunkeness and fornication but thinking that Apollos preaches better than Paul.
And also if a teacher were to argue about things that are not important but are not false doctrine they are building with wood, hay and stubble and it will not endure the fire, they will not receive a reward for all those hours wasted trying to convince someone of bad hermeneutics on an interpretation. They will still be saved but suffer loss of rewards. Not fornicators and drunkards but these who argue about a wisdom that is of the flesh and not of the Spirit. We have many of them here in CC. They bristle and rage and their hackles rise when someone refutes their pet interpretation and they go on and on, thread after thread and it is all wood hay and stubble.
Paul did not call the fornicators carnal Christians. He said they will not inherit the kingdom of God.
There are two camps on this.
- God died for every sin ever
- God died for the sins of those in the Book of Life

4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love
Jesus had a connection to us before we were born. We were in Him. That gives Jesus a way to access all sins.I feel like removing the sins of the unbelievers kind of takes away from the title of "the savior of the world".

I think Jesus gets to judge the world because everyone was involved in what He did.
I also think the Cross is dual purposed. Sins of the world and a door to Life/Truth. We need both fixed to be saved.
Extra bonus: For as the [human] body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one Body [the Body of Christ] , whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. For the Body [of Christ] is not one member, but many. (1 Cor 12:12-14)
