It's like message boards here. You post and it's there, people can read it whenever and reply whenever.
You can start a new thread, like you did here, but those take time to post publicly as the moderator has to approve them.
If you are posting on an already active thread, your post will show up right away for others to see.
You post a post and you wait 24 hours to see how many people respond and reply to you thoughts or question/s Then you can continue reply to their replies to expand the conversation.. It's pretty simple. when i first come into the site i click on the "" What's new"" option and then onto the ""New posts"" that will show me all the posts that have been posted since my last visit to Christian chat..
I also look at the top where the Bell symbol is and it will tell me if my posts have been replied to.. I click on it and then click on the replies to get to that reply fast..
It all works out pretty will.. You just have to have the patience to wait for a day. People visits here from all over the world so it takes 24 hours to get an accurate idea of how many people are interested in the topic you have posted or are interested in the replies you have made to other peoples topics.. This is usually not an instant reply format.. That does happen sometimes when i am on CC at the same time as a person i am having an interaction with.. When that happens the replies can come in within minutes..
