Every time you say sinners, they see themselves.

I really do not understand who first brought that concept into Christianity

To think there is no difference is weird to me.
The point is this you will sin until you die.

That is a different discussion.
How so?
It DIRECTLY addresses the op.
Carnal believers are walking in sin.
They still make heaven(hopefully) as pauls puts it "through fire"

Play it backwards.
The pastor preaching is carnal. Not walking in Holiness.
So he reflect his own nominal christian constitution in his preaching
"well,ya know, we are all sinners saved by grace"

Sets the bar low, because he operates in a carnal walk himself.

The point is this you will sin until you die.
There are those walking in unrepentant sin
There are those walking in Holiness.

There is a difference in that those nominal believers will NEVER set the bar higher because the leaders are also like them.

The target is not caving in to a carnal walk.
The target is HOLINESS.

That is the difference.
Where are my sights?
What is my example?
"i am a sinner saved by grace" is just giving in to carnality.

1John 1:9 If we CONFESS our sins,He is FAITHFUL and JUST to cleanse us from ALL unrighteousness.

1Timothy 5:24 Some men's sins are open beforehand, going BEFORE to judgment, and some men they follow after.

Isaiah 57:2 But your iniquities have SEPERATED between you and your God,and your sins have hid His face from you, that He will NOT hear.

I understand and almost agree.
We are not perfect.
But the perfect one sent the Holy Spirit.
H O L Y spirit.
So,I can walk holy before God.
The dilemma is ...Holy God /sinful man.
Jesus did not come to teach man to be Holy.
He came to MAKE men Holy.
Amen, brother. Peace be with you.

So to you guys there is no difference in an unredeemed sinner and a saint?
Who’s you guys? Unredeemed sinners and saints are polar opposites.

Believers in Jesus Christ, though they sin, are redeemed sinners, a.k.a. saints.

Okay, I am going to jump in here. Yes, we will all commit sin until we no longer have flesh. If we are seeking a walk with the Holy Spirit, there is no condemnation for our sins (Rom. 8:1). Even if we haven't repented, God will most likely take care of it His way.

The confusion comes down to how we call ourselves. We are limited by time and space but God is not. When God says something that is not though it were (see Rom. 4:12) He is calling the future and/or past. Like the souls speaking from under the alter (Rev. 6:9) or Abel's blood crying from the ground (Gen. 4:10). So, God can claim those things out of time constraints.

When we say we are saved, it is because Christ used the same terms. Jesus, being God, gives us permission to call such things also. Are we really saved before we are resurrected and immortalized? Not really, but can can call it for we have God Almighty's promise that it will happen. Hallelujah! In fact, Jesus worded it just that way:

John 5:24,25 "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live."

As a parent I am held accountable for the conduct of my children. Is God held accountable for the conduct of his children ? We are children of the Most High God. If he is held accountable then who will be the one who presents the wrongful conduct of his children to him. If I understand it correctly Jesus is the only one given that authority. So will He? Will he accuse us to our Father? Is it possible that the blood of Jesus did exactly what the scripture said it did ? Did it really TAKE AWAY the sin of the world? I believe those who seek after righteousness know what it means to be free from the hindrance sin. The only way we can walk side by side uninterrupted with our Lord every second of every min of every hour of every day is because sin has no part of our relationship. The best part of this all is that Jesus made it that way. In my life when my flesh rises up and I fell to dress it in a manner which is according to the light I have been given I know what I have done and I know what to expect. Alas I make my way to the wood shed. The results is never about the feeling of discipline but instead its about me staying under his arm. My soul weeps at the thought living any other way.
You quoted more than just me there so I'll respond to your remarks now as a parent and as pertains to what I wrote before.
What kind of parent would I be if my kids did something wrong and they couldn't talk to me about it?
Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth. John 9:31

Ok.
The Spirit precedes the word (written word)
Jesus laid it out vividly,
Tarry in Jerusalem until you get The Holy Spirit like me.
Procede from there.
Mental discernment will fail.
Scripture is from heaven.
Salvation is a person, not a concept or prayer.
We sign up to die.
Life comes from death
The Holy Spirit is our helper.
We turn our faces like flint to heaven.
We reject and divorce all that would confuse or take that away.
We walk in the Spirit.
We see his hand and feel his warmth and approval.
When temptation wins we sin.
It breaks our hearts and we vow and LEARN to Not Go There Again.

Read pilgrim's progress.
It will put definition in your walk
Do you know the Pilgrim's Progress is an allegorical work?

Not surprising considering you fail to acknowledge you are a sinner.

Wrong. Sinners will sin until the day they die, but NOT so with believers.

True born again believers will learn to walk and eventually NOT stumble anymore.

A red car is a red car whether it is driven or not. A person who is allergic to peanuts is allergic to peanuts whether they eat peanuts or not. A person who sins once a year is a sinner whether they admit it or not.

All people are sinners; sinners who put their faith in Jesus Christ are forgiven and do not belong to Satan as you claim. You should be more careful about proverbially throwing believers of Jesus Christ in to the gates of hell like you do. In other words, remove that plank from your eye.
People that put their faith in the Blood and Body of Yeshua/Jesus are sealed with the Holy Spirit and are NO LONGER sinners, they are children of the Most High God.

We need to learn to walk by the Spirit so we do not fulfill the lusts of the flesh and thereby stumble.

We need to be filled with the Holy Spirit by stirring up the Gift of the Holy Spirit within us.

Wow I a never knew you believed this.

John makes it very clear in his letter that a person who states they have no sin has not the truth.

I for one am so thankful that I will always need Jesus. I pray He will prick my conscience everytime I grieve the Spirit for the rest of my life.

Thank You Lord for never leaving nor forsaking that which belongs to You.

May we never leave Your counsel, may we humbly remain at Your feet.

His mercies are new everyday...

Let me hear in the morning of your steadfast love, for in you I trust. Make me know the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul.
Psalms 143:8 ESV

I have set the Lord always before me; because he is at my right hand, I shall not be shaken. Therefore my heart is glad, and my whole being rejoices; my flesh also dwells secure.
Psalms 16:8‭-‬9 ESV

He proved himself a sinner by being prideful earlier today. God doesn’t take kindly to prideful people.
He stumbled, and we forgive him and each other and help him get back up and encourage him in the Spirit, lest we also stumble and fall.

Wow I a never knew you believed this.

John makes it very clear in his letter that a person who states they have no sin has not the truth.

John 1:8
Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.

Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.

Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.

Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

Is it too simple to say, it is a heart matter? He knows what is false in us, and when we sincerely yearn for Him, even when we go left. Willful sinning is very different from human error. We will always need Him!!! I have a glitch or two in my character that He is working on right now. I guarantee the same is true for us all. He knows that, this is why we are to forgive one another.

The thing we need to examine is...

Are we growing in Him.
