It's the other way around. If you don't agree with me, you are disagreeing with what the Bible says. See, I can do it too.
What do I disagree with you about that you are sharing that is backed up by HIS word?

I think Robertson got it right and you got it wrong. And since you disagree with me and Robertson, you are disagreeing with the Bible. See, I can say the same thing on every post.
I was asking for somewhere where Jesus said that salvation is a single event? But you have merely added more details, namely, "salvation is a single event of trust and belief IN the saving act of Christ by which one is regenerated and receives the gift of salvation never to be revoked or undone." Is there somewhere I can read Jesus saying that in scripture?I am referring to being born from above.
It is singular event of trust and belief IN the saving act of Christ by which one is regenerated and receives the gift of salvation never to be revoked or undone.

How many times can those of dead faith choose to accept Jesus and be saved?
I gave you the definitive answer. But you reject it. Why do you refuse to believe the Bible? Are you humble? It's easy to reed.
Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Then Peter said unto them, Repent
and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins
and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Repent.
Get baptized to get rid of our sins.
And we shall receive the Holy Ghost.
Breaking it into three parts makes it easier.
What do you think?
You are still fighting the obvious. No one can forgive sins but God alone. And He doesn't need a ceremony to accomplish it.I will let HIS word do the talking.
Luke 3:3 And he came into all the country about Jordan, preaching the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins;
Mark 1,
1 The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God;
2 As it is written in the prophets, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.
3 The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.
4 John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.
5 And there went out unto him all the land of Judaea, and they of Jerusalem, and were all baptized of him in the river of Jordan, confessing their sins.
JESUS said this,
Luke 24:47 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
This was the message,
Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Acts 22:16 And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.
Romans 6:6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
That's how you see it. If that's how you see it, you're entitled to your view. You are still fighting the obvious. No one can forgive sins but God alone. And He doesn't need a ceremony to accomplish it.
"Born from above" comes from His discussion with Nicodemus.
Physical birth - a singular event in time
Spiritual regeneration - a singular event in time.
A person cannot be unborn once they have be born either physically or spiritually.
4 It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit,
5 who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age—
6 and then have fallen away—to be restored to repentance, because they themselves are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting Him to open shame.…
Hebrews 6:4-6
No problem, sorry if I seem pushing. You are still fighting the obvious. No one can forgive sins but God alone. And He doesn't need a ceremony to accomplish it.

Submitting to God''s command of water baptism is not about performing a "ceremony." it's about believing and obeying God regardless of whether it makes sense or not. The word reveals everyone is to be baptized in the name of Jesus in order to have their sins washed away. That's bible, not someone's opinion. You are still fighting the obvious. Where does Jesus equate "being born from above" with "salvation", and "salvation" with "being born from above"? Admittedly, being born from above is a part of the salvation process, but surely it does not encompass the entirety of salvation?
You guys like to say sins need to be washed away. But that is just a picture of the reality. If our sins are not to be counted against us, they must be forgiven. Sins earn us death. And God is the Judge, Jury, and Executioner. He decides who gets punished for their sins and who He saves from His wrath. Scripture is clear that there is only one way to avoid the eternal damnation that we earn by sinning. And that way is by trusting Jesus for the forgiveness that He earned for us on the cross...The word reveals everyone is to be baptized in the name of Jesus in order to have their sins washed away.

And I could probably find a hundred more verses that speak of salvation being through faith in Christ and not through baptism.
- For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe. (1 Co 1:21)
- 14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, 15 that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. 18 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (Jn 3:14–18)
- 28 Then they said to Him, “What shall we do, that we may work the works of God?” 29 Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.” (Jn 6:28–29)
- 39 You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me. 40 But you are not willing to come to Me that you may have life. (Jn 5:39–40)
22 And according to the law almost all things are purified with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission. 23 Therefore it was necessary that the copies of the things in the heavens should be purified with these, but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. (Heb 9:22–23)
It is not water that is necessary for sins to be forgiven. It is blood. That's why the law prescribed animal sacrifices for sins, because without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sins (Heb 9:22). Even though it was not possible for those sacrifices to take away sins (Heb 10:4), they were perscribed to foreshadow what Christ would do on the cross (Heb 9:23).
12 Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption. 13 For if the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of a heifer, sprinkling the unclean, sanctifies for the purifying of the flesh, 14 how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? (Heb 9:12–14)
Through the eternal Spirit, carrying His own blood, He offered Himself without spot to God for our sins. The blood of His sacrifice can cleanse our consciences of sin so that we may serve the living God (Heb 9:12-14).
