How many times have you read through the Bible cover to cover

Believe it or not, he's right.
I wouldn't have believed it either, but I did so now I do believe it.
Though I have read the Word many times over, and in several languages, this does not make me wiser than the next. I yet know very little however my assurance has always been and always will be Jesus Yeshua, the One Who is the Author of all. My reading has been strictly fueled by obedience, my understanding only by His Holy Spirit, as it is will all who have called upon Him in Spirit and in Truth. Praise Yah, amen.
I read until I get tired and then I put it down and I go to bed so at least the word of God is the last thing every day.
I’m not sure how many times I’ve read straight through, from Genesis to Revelation but I’m glad I did and still do.
People told me the Bible isn’t meant to be read as a you would a book, from cover to cover, but when I did it opened up so much to me. I realised there were threads that weaved their way through the whole book, the whole thing just flowed and I got so much from it and I still do.
I try to read every morning before work. I’m currently reading Corinthians after starting in Genesis early this year. Once I’m done I’ll just read whatever I’m drawn to or want to study. Maybe next year I’ll go all the way through again, maybe I won’t, but either way I will spend a lifetime of study and never fathom it all out. It still astounds me that after reading a passage lots of times it suddenly jumps out with something I’d not noticed before.

Use the Bible app on your iPad or iPhone if you have one… and just let it run. And it reads itself like an audiobook it’s awesome.

I usually use the ESV Bible app to listen or read because prefer how it’s laid out and I also prefer the speakers voice. I have listened to the Bible app in the past though when I just started out.
The one I use is the red one and it says holy Bible, but you’re able to toggle through the different translations and they have different voices too
