I don't remember the last time my parents sparked me, or whether they ever did. They probably wanted to from time to time. If they did, I probably would have called the fire department. I recommend that you never spark your children, but instead find a better punishment that doesn't involve fire. I'd really question the legality of this kind of punishment.
