Homosexuality is an abomination to the Lord, the Word clearly speaks that.
BUT.
We are to love them just as anyone else. The Lord loves them just as much as He loves you. The most holy, righteous man in the world compared to the most sinful, discusting man, the Lord loves them the same, it's his heart.
Psalm says, He is the same God who made the rich and the poor.
My dad is homosexual, but he just represents millions of broken people in the world who struggle with this. It is really just a broken people, broken in a different way with insecurities of their sexuality, and caught up in the Spirit of this Age. The Lord is shaking everything that can be shaken and breaking things that can be broken. The Lord is also healing and delivering people, but he desires partnership so they have to do their own part for the Lord as well.
but we are called to love them Jcaroline...simple as that. They are really no different then you, just struggling in a different way. Sin is sin. Just different consequences. Also the Lord is their Judge, not us. We need to just allow ourselves to be open for the Holy Spirit to work in us and flow powerfully through us.

My female best friend is Bi. Although she has never come on to me, we have talked obout it. Even though I"m not ok with it, (for obvious reasons), I love her anyway.

A true story.
A pastor of a church in New England had a packed house on Sunday morning and noticed two young men standing in the back. During the message, there was an urgency in his heart about these two men. After the message and the invitation for salvation was given, neither of the two men raised their hand. The pastor wanted to visit with others but the Holy Spirit said go to those men. He made his way to the back of the church, talked with them and pleaded with them to receive Christ. They never responded but said thanks and left. The next morning in the local paper, the pastor read that these same two men had been involved in an accident in that town and had been killed. The first thing that came to mind weeping, was that our lives are like a vapour, that vanishes away. From that point on his life was not the same and he asked God to always give him a burning for lost souls.
The point is that sinners are lost and without Christ will spend eternity separated from God. For some it could be before nightfall. Your friend is lost and her great need is to be cleaned and forgiven of sin. This is the love of God who sent His Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. This is the urgency and burning we have in our hearts toward the lost.

I was asking about this because once a girl from my college and same classes came to me and grabbed my hand, started acting weird for the hole week and looking at me like mmm

All we really can do for those people is pray for them and ask God what he would have you to say, in a situation like that. Don't judge them, just care for them as people and leave the judging up to God. But you can never go wrong by praying and seeking advice from God about that area. Have your bible in case he wants you to show them where he talks about homosexuality.
It is sad how those people are, but don't turn your back, be like Jesus and reach out towards them, hopefully they will see the light through you and ask God to forgive them and to help change their lifestyle.
We are are always here for advice too and to pray with you for anyone you have in mind.

I just treat them as normal ppl!
I love on them and am friends with them and I have found them to be more accepting of me than most other ppl!
I do let them know i dont approve of their lifestyle and that im a christian. but I'm still friends with them
Ive been hit on by a lesbian before and I just let her know that I'm not like that and i'm not interested and we continued to be friends. In fact i met her when i was in a play and she was pretty much the only person who hung out with me during the rehersals and such. she was the awesomest person there! most of the other ppl there were really snobby and hung out in thier own clicks.

Yes, gays and lesbians and even people who are Bi-sexual do have confused morals to the Christian stand-point...pretty much all of us know this.
But as of right now...when non-Christians look at us Christians the first they think is "They hate gays."
It shouldnt be this way!! You should love them and treat them like everyone else.
Unless you've known them for a longgggggg time...DO NOT pull out your Bible and condemn them right away with the "See here? In 1st Corinthians it says that marriage should be one MAN and one WOMAN." That's what turns them off to even talking to us. Sure....do that...but after you've loved on them...showed them that we know they are people just like us...not some aliens. Once you've talked to them..learned about them and gained their trust...then you can do that sort of stuff.

explain to them that youre straight and invite them to church sometime. if they
dont go to your church, know that just by inviting them, you planted a seed in their heart.
