That's not what it says. It says Christ alone was exiting temple and disciples came to him. That's a meeting place right at temple. Christ gives a prophecy and then they will walk to mount as a group.

Mat 24:1 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.
Where were they when the disciples came to him. Where was jesus at this time?

You can not say from this passage. You just guessing as you said YOU WERE NOT THERE

Mat 24:3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

On the mount they ask, "Tell us, when shall these things be?" Read carefully because Christ does not answer this question. He never says when anything takes place. He only answered about the signs of his coming and end of the word plus he gives signs that come prior to start of the Great Tribulation. He never says when any of this takes place, presumably based on something related to Mat_24:36 .
WHEN WILL THESE THINGS BE

Jesus did not just ignore their questions. Those things occured in 70 AD. When Titus and his armies destroyed the city and temple. And scattered the jews all over the Roman Empire. And jerusalem has been trampled by the gentiles from that day and will continue until the time of the gentile is complete.

Just because you did nto understand it does nto mean jesus did not explain perfectly clear what would happen

I never called you a liar. You are the only one between us that did any Ad Hominem, personal attacking.
You call me a liar every time you say i am wrong dude

Typical of those who refuse to acknowledge they have never done anythign wrong.

When you tell a person THEY ARE WRONG> YOU CALL THEM A LIAR>

Better to be hard headed than hard tongued.
Your both

I admit i can be hard headed. And when someone comes trying to bully others and attack them telling them they have no truth. I will be hard tongued right back to them

I treat people as they treat others.

Both of you can be pretty hard-headed... :censored:

However, both of you have your good side, too! (y)

ewq - I agree with you that it would be reasonable to define the OD as the discourse on the mount

eg - I agree with you that there are things in the OD that have come to pass in history

I was just hoping we could all not have to watch y'all argue over this for the next 3-5 pages...

Perhaps y'all could agree to disagree?

The "peacemaker" will now kindly step out of what he probably should not have "stepped into" in the first place - and let-you-have-it...

Argue-away!

I will stay out of it.
I do not know why I bother with him. Every time I try to have a conversation with him, He pops this attitude. And starts to tell me I am wrong, instead of just sticking to the words.

When someone does that. I fight back.. I treat them the same, because in the end, their true character usually comes out.

That's completely false and I am also tired of your attacks and meanness so you are now on ignore.
Yeah be like the other one

You can‘t stand being told your wrong, so run like a kid.

I do not know what world you come from. But when you tell someone flat out their are wrong, YOU CALL THEM A LIAR

When you said YOU DISAGREE. Then you are having a discussion

I doubt you will admit that. Because like I said before. YOUR TO PROUD.

Well. He did it

He could not admit he attacks people when he tells them they are wrong and does not just say he disagrees with them.

So he puts me on ignore..

Typical. They can give it out but they can’t take it.

I have no respect for them

A lie is something that is not spoken in truth.

When someone judges you of speaking a false truth. They are in fact calling you a liar.

if you can not be humble enough to admit you are doing that. Then you are to proud to have any real conversation with anyone

It is irrelevant. What was discussed at the temple is not part of the discourse given on the mount. Christ spoke of in discourse are events that will take place LONG after any destruction of temple.

If you want to Willy Nilly add anything to the Olivet Discourse then you can add all of Matthew and the other gospels as "the same conversation".
Right here is where a normal conversation was made impossible by an ad hominem. Not sticking to the scripture. But attacking a person

He does this all the time. WHich is why I called him out.

I would suggest that telling someone they are wrong does not always or necessarily have a one-to-one equivalency to calling them a liar.

I would say that intent has a lot to do with it.

In any case - as I often say - anything anyone posts should be viewed as merely their opinion.

If someone tells you that you are wrong, simply take it as someone expressing their opinion that they believe you are in error.

Don't accept it as fact that you are being called a liar unless the word 'liar' is actually used in a directed accusation.

That guy gets under my skin.
At one time, I could say that about you - but, not any more - I do not allow it.

I do not know why I bother with him. Every time I try to have a conversation with him, He pops this attitude. And starts to tell me I am wrong, instead of just sticking to the words
Sometimes, I could say that about you. But, I am not saying this to provoke you to anger; rather, I am saying this to encourage you to remember that - in this environment - sometimes, our perceptions can be "way off" from what is really intended in a post.

So, we must allow a wide margin of possibility of error in perception.

We should at least 'make sure' that our perception is correct before we 'react'.

If necessary - "be the better man" - be the strong mature brother who is always ready to help a weak[er] brother.

When someone does that. I fight back.. I treat them the same, because in the end, their true character usually comes out.
But, is this really the way the Lord wants us to be?
