We should not be surprised at the devious activities of the left toward a Republican president....after all they will kill babies in the womb, legalise every form of deviant sexual discourse and behavior, give more rights to a dog, legalise euthanizing the sick and elderly, oppose all truth, anything good, lie like dogs, take our right to speak of Christ and God openly away, use the courts and laws deceptively against us and the President and in the end ostracise us, imprison us and kill us at the bat of an eye.
Alright! Quit pickin' on dogs.

I agree with the transparency team. You sign up for such a public office, you had better be ready for all kinds of attacks. Its politics. You are fair game. Toughen up or dont take the job in the first place.
That is modern day politics but certainly not the way it used to be...... the political world has devolved terribly.

And because of this good people who would be good leaders rarely enter because it is just not worth it..... and that is the real tragedy of
the new "fair game' politics.

What about taxes? Don't you believe the honor and responsibility of a national leader should be beyond reproach? If the accusation are false then perjury and slander charges should be perused. If adultery and being a disgrace to the uniform is a Court marshal offence according to the UCMJ for the rest of the military why not its commander in Chief?

The President is not a private citizen as long as he hold office of Commander in Chief of the US Military. Is any President above the laws they are supposed to protect and defend? Remember Nixon, he got off easy!

I'd like to see politicians stop making money from overseas deals and then switching lanes if they think someone sees that

the game of I'll grease your palms if you grease mine, has almost made butter in short supply

well the Republicans did try to impeach Clinton with actual EVIDENCE and la hoity toity Pelousi went all righteous

now she is trying to impeach with NO evidence and she is as convincing as the snake in the garden....in other words, the gullibles and already deceived are eating the fruit

the President is allowed a private life or would you like cameras in the living quarters ?

When a person has chosen to run for office, and then get elected, well, he better understand that he’s now a public person that we, the American people, expect transparency from.

for some reason this post reminds me of the story of 'the Emperor's New Clothes'

A precedent was set long ago for the US President to divest themselves of all financial entanglements that may effect their judgement as leaders, as well as to disclose all tax information. We have come to expect it.

well shucks junior....

you don't seem to be bothered by the fact the Dems have short circuited EVERY SINGLE ROUTING TOUTING precedent for impeachment on #45

when that actually bothers you, I might...I said might...listen to what you have to say

35 Straight Months: Even Before Trump Took Office, Media Began Impeachment Obsession
https://www.newsbusters.org/blogs/n...ht-months-impeachment-obsession-predate-trump

Efforts to impeach Donald Trump (Wikipedia)
Various people and groups assert that U.S. president Donald Trump has engaged in impeachable activity both before and during his presidency, and talk of impeachment began before he took office. Formal efforts were initiated by Representatives Al Green and Brad Sherman, both Democrats, in 2017, the first year of his presidency. On September 24, 2019, Speaker of the House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi announced that six committees would undertake formal impeachment inquiries after reports about controversial interactions between Trump and the country of Ukraine.

So does any Christian fail to see that this was an evil Leftist CONSPIRACY to remove a legally elected President from office? All of the above was sedition and the plot for a COUP.

And the next question should be: Why was Obama not impeached for treason?
and he won't be

people don't generally like wearing cement boots :cautious:

I think there’s a difference between transparency and frivolity. Definitely not a social media account.

When Barack Obama became the 44th president of the United States on November 4, 2008, he left behind an incredible campaign that used social media like no other. Through the tactics of social media and mobilization of the general public online, Obama was able to raise awareness and financial support of his campaign. While Obama was able to use over 15 social networking sites to have over 5 million online friends.[1]

The topic of Barack Obama's usage of social media in his political campaigns, including podcasting, Twitter, Myspace, Facebook, and YouTube has been compared to the adoption of radio, television, MTV, and the Internet in slingshotting his presidential campaign to success and as thus has elicited much scholarly inquiry.[2] In the 2008 presidential campaign, Obama had more "friends" on Facebook and Myspace and more "followers" on Twitter than his opponent John McCain.[3]

Obama's usage of the wider Internet has often since been compared to Franklin D. Roosevelt and John F. Kennedy's adaption of the radio and television mediums, respectively, in the history of communication between the White House and the American Public.

Well If I extreme anything it's extremely middle of the road. 1/2 way between capitolism and socialism is where I'll stay. I oppose both radical extremes. Remember Saul was chosen to lead Israel to punish it. Even God withdrew the anointing and chose a Sheppard boy to usurp him. The radicalization of the (not so) democratic party is the natural backlash of the economy and bankers turning this nation into a culture of debtors and everybody on the right seems to be OK with it, as if the profitability is more important than the Health, Education and welfare of the working class. Do you not think the beast will be a banker? Or do you not care?

Jesus said in Matthew 26: 11The poor you will always have with you, but you will not always have Me. 12By pouring this perfume on Me, she has prepared My body for burial.…(Berean Study Bible)

He said it to a greedy, scoundrel and profit minded traitor named Judas that promptly sold him to the establishment for 30 pieces so silver. We chose a leader to work for us. Not as a king but as a servant to the people. The precedent has been long established for the President to unencumber themselves from profit minded activities and serve us, voluntarily, for a term of four years at the rate of "$400,000 per year, including a $50,000 expense allowance, a $100,000 nontaxable travel account, and a $19,000 entertainment account. The president's salary is set by Congress..." https://www.thoughtco.com/presidential-pay-and-compensation-3322194

We expect honesty and transparency for that much money. Sure there are other jobs that pay more without as much expectations, responsibility, accountability or negative publicity. Maybe Trump made a mistake!

ho hum, when I was young, almost everyone had in their house-hold had a pictured-frame of the (10) Commandments
upon a wall somewhere, it was just 'normal'!
in grade school, before class started, we recited The Lord's Prayer, and Pledge of Alligence, - it was required
and we certainly obeyed what we were told to do, without any objection, and for myself, it made me feel good
and a part of something that I didn't even understand -go figure???...

when I think about this, and now seeing what their point was, the manipulation, it makes me very sad!!!

We didn't say the Lords prayer, it was illegal. Jehovahs witnesses' and atheist's got "One nation under God" taken out of the pledge of allegiance and the JW's didn't have to put there hands over their hearts either. Than was in the 60's in California public schools.

Why do nosy little people think they have to know what someone's tax returns are? The IRS says he is legal, don't they? So then, what is your interest? In serious business, disclosing details of your operation to your competitors can be very detrimental to you. And his children now own those businesses. Is it your desire to not only rob him of his lawful and rightful presidency, but to also destroy his children's businesses if you can?

You worried he is in bed with Putin? This President has financially hurt Russia more than any other President who ever lived. Worried about China? Same thing. Ukraine? They have nothing to offer.

I think it is simple jealousy of a man who has accomplished way more than any of us could even dream of.

do you also believe in the tooth fairy and santa?

the dems have created a scenario from which they can no longer extract themselves and are left now with nothing but to fall on their own swords

glib remarks such as simply stating Trump or anyone else is guilty is less than intelligent if you want to use words like that

it isn't over until it's over and it isn't over

you may end up gnashing your teeth before it's over

pelousi certainly will...she needs to remove her dentures
