how do we know that the "Big Bang" didnt happen. I really want to get over the thought of that.
I am Christian and I am stressed out about science.

Being a christian doesn't mean you have to ignore science. Science and religion ultimately answer two different questions. One answers how things happened, and one answers why things happen. The big bang and the vast complexity of the universe (and our ability to discover this sort of stuff) is the reason why many physicists are Christians. The big bang can be true just as the Genesis account is true in a spiritual sense. There is no contradiction unless you take Genesis as being a scientific account , which is not what the author intended in the least.
