I Can Already Tell Valentine's Day is Going to be a Huge Disappointment! :(

Ooh, Reese's mini peanut butter cups! If only those would be half-price (I don't even know if anything in here is half-price after) .. or I would even find them at stores in this town... I discovered those when my friend fooled me to buy some Ben&Jerry's icecream that had those. I am even willing to pay the full price when I find those .. maybe

Fazer's blue (chocolate) would be on my list too, but propably there is not a good deal on that one either.
Chocolate prices are nuts currently, well, maybe it is better not to get those that much anyway, because I still do have a lot of extra from Christmas time that is still to be eaten....


Valentines is mostly advertised here as a friend's day (and it is called that too), so as a single one it is not so lonely holiday.
If I have time (more like energy) I'll be making a "church cake" (name due to a pan shape) to one of my friend, the cake is loaded with butter, sugar, heavy cream and white and dark chocolate (good luck to your diet ). I think the original version of it is a marble cake, in english, but we call it a tiger cake in here.

I have a thing for caramel, so I love dark chocolate rolos when I can find them. The milk chocolate ones aren't as good imo.

I mean you're not wrong... They taste like more wax than sugar, and definitely more wax than chocolate. But how are they staying in business? I assumed somebody was eating them somewhere.

cinder brought cow tongue to a meetup. It was pretty good. She cooked it in
a crock pot. Cut off the thick outer layer and it's just another chunk of meat.

Made good sandwiches too.

My mother always made meat salad out of cow tongue. As children we were always a mixture of grossed out and intrigued
to see the cellophaned uncooked tongue in the fridge. Such large taste buds!!! Haha! Who knew eating grass required such?

And yeah, the meat salad sandwiches, despite the knowledge of the meat used, was always rather tasty...

The infamous heart boxes?

This heart-shaped idea prompted/inspired a panel from me, as I have been generating AI images to use in my collages... and one of the elements I ask for is stained glass windows. But I gotta tell ya, getting heart-shaped stained glass windows from the generator I have been using was a little tricky LOL. But I managed to wrangle this (which is two images "blended" [with the colours intensified I might add], and I did also overlay a new face, because facial features are not that great with AI, and with hands especially AI goes terribly awry, most often giving too many fingers but also sometimes not enough and/or fingers going off in weird directions and angles LOL):

These are the only Palmers I've tried and I loved them. Could not stop eating them and they were only 99 cents at the 99 cents store (all closed now ). Also, Reeses is my favorite.
