I usually walk my wife to her car in the morning and in that few seconds I try to glance at the sunrise and thank God for a beautiful perfect day. We are so blessed in Johannesburg with the most beautiful sunrise (and sunset) even if we live in a city. God's hand of creativity is to be seen on a daily basis here in Africa...

I thank God for the safe trip the needed vacation. The time to heal and restore.

I am grateful that I still have a job to work everyday.

I once had no friends. I was full of anger, bitterness, depression, and low self-esteem. When I wanted a change in my life and when I knew that change could only come from Christ, my life started to become better.

To this day, I am no longer depressed, I am on longer held captive, and I have more friends than I can count. I am so grateful for friends who have challenged me when I was being stupid, who loved me at my worst, and who invested in my life.

I am grateful for a God who didn't give up when everyone else around me did. And I am grateful for God who has blessed me with solid friendships.

Today I'm grateful that my book I'd been writing for a year has reached it's closed, and has glorified God in a way I don't think I could have done better. I'm thankful for my readers.
