What is your point on a guy wearing a purity ring? I always wonder about certain things, I usually wear a gold cross necklace that I got for Christmas, and a watch...They both have a particular meaning to me, and I will never give them up or lose them (Hopefully) But recently I bought a couple gifts for myself life I side in a recent post, but one of them was purity ring, and new chain with a cross and black stone in the middle of it... What is your thought though on guys wearing a purity ring?
 
I think a purity ring has no intrinsic value of any kind, good or bad.

However, if it helps you in your walk, then go for it.
 
I think a simple ring won't keep you pure.. only your own mind, concscience and obedience to God can do that. A purity ring doesn't have magical powers to keep you from being impure..
 
I really don't get it. Purity is a choice. If this area is a challenge for you then ask God to help you resist temptation.
 
If it helps you remember the commitment you've made, then go for it. They have no real value, but different things help different people. If it helps you, use it, if it doesn't really do anything for you then it's otherwise useless.
 
I think it's a good idea, good reminder of your commitment to the King Jesus the Christ. I like it.
