i fall in love way too easily

but i think you'll find that God doesn't usually write his will for our lives in neon print in front of our feet.
sometimes it's trickier than it should be. like in both my relationships i THOUGHT i felt God's confirmation on the relationship. and neither sign ended up being right at all.

it's just not always as easy as you think to figure out.
 
I would recommend getting emotionally whole - usually if we are doing this, there is something wrong, If we attract crazies, it's because we are crazy and we don't realize it. I would recommend the books Thrive: Living the Single Christian Life as God intended it, and How to get a date worth keeping - Good balance of books

Awesome response, by the way! :) you are certainly right! It's sad how the meaning of love gets watered down, no thanks to the media. The best we can do is learn from the source of love: GOD. That way, we would have a true and deeper understanding about what it really means to love. It's basically not just as shallow as feelings of infatuation, or intense desire for that someone. It's knowing that that someone is the one we want to give our care, support, trust, respect, patience, understanding, time and energy for life, simply because we know that we accept them as they are. Completely. Unconditionally. And that we don't want to proceed with life doing otherwise. The knowledge that you love someone far exceeds feeling in love with someone. But if the knowledge and the feeling are both there...that takes the cake :)

I hate to say this is the problem I have with dating Christians but... if the shoe fits?


I don't believe in Signs.


Its like a weird scapegoat card that women (or men?) pull.

and i don't think i believe in signs anymore either after those things. i do believe in dreams and visions tho. but not signs.

well i tell it like it is. she's got a horrible attitude and i am not ok with her behavior. it's wrong.
that being said. everyone is entitled to be wrong if they want to.

I can't help but want to share this song that has been pretty much playing in my head today. It's one of my personal faves. I'm not in love with anyone right now, except for Papa GOD. But i would like to be singing this song and meaning it...sometime soon, hopefully :o

There's a difference between being rude and being brutally honest, Keren. As a friend, and for what its worth, I want you to know that I think there was a lot of truth and sense to what Nod said in here.

whatEVER zero! you can't possibly sit there and say she said anything in an edifying manner. all she did was attack. it's bull and you know it. or you SHOULD know it.
