I am very confused what is happening.
You haven't done anything wrong. It's normal to have questions as a new believer. And there are many here who will be helpful. Those that are continue to seek them out. It will be their joy to assist you.

People are discussing/arguing over the best way to help you. If you do not like the way someone speaks to you (or others), you can block them by hovering your cursor over their avatar, and selecting "Ignore" along the bottom of the app that opens. You will no longer see their posts unless you choose to, and they will not be able to privately contact you, either. As someone new to the faith, it is natural for you to have many questions. It is likely many still have unanswered questions even after many years into their Christian walk. In fact there is an active thread that Cameron created dealing with this issue of unanswered questions. Anywho, it is true that little is known definitively about Autism. 1 out of 68 American children are diagnosed with it, and it is five times more prevalent in boys than girls. Have you looked into the link between autism and the health of the digestive tract? I saw an interesting mini-documentary on it a few years ago. You have said you like reading or that you read very fast, so here (<= link) is a link to a page about it. I also wanted to give you this to read; it is a link also :)

Autism, or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), is diagnosed and defined solely on the basis of the presence of surface symptoms. As autism is not a biological 'thing' in itself, it therefore cannot be cured, since a behavioural label is not a disease.
Autism has to do with the wiring in your brain.

You from birth are hard wired a specific way.

That handicap means of course, that Jesus will pay much more attention to you.

Just as the church gives more honor to it's weaker members.

So too does Jesus Himself.

In a way, you are a very fortunate person but you may not see it that way.

I am not going to read this anymore...if anyone wants to geuinly help, contact me somehow else
You are on a chat site that dedicates itself to promoting God and His Holy Word. It really has no stigma attached to whomever is participating unless they are outside the framework of God and His Holy Word.

But more importantly, you deserve the truth and I believe some are providing that towards you.

Should you not like the truth that just so happens to align with God and His Holy Word, then you are seeking falsehoods to either support your own views or what you desire to be stated.

But the bottom line facts are what we understand from Medical Science relating to the several factors that causes the Disorder of Autism and we can further that by acts of manufacturing and decision making that also directly relates to SIN.

No one is saying that you sinned, but others did and their actions could be one of the dominating factors for why you are Autistic.

If I was made in God's Image, why did God make me autistic?
Being made in the image of God is not about our physical or our mental capacity. It is about having his character as in moral, spiritual and intellectual nature.

Interesting question. Though made in God's image we are human and therefore imperfect. Only Jesus was perfect on this earth, we mere mortals struggle along with our many problems, praying for help as we need.
So put your pleas to God and you can be sure He listens and will help you as is His will.

I have three children, one diagnosed with an extremely rare disease, one with possible autism (waiting for the testing), and another with social anxiety. I tell my children (22, 18, 15) that they have been given these conditions not as punishment but because they were meant to do something with them. They have all took that and have really applied it to their lives and help others around them to overcome or work with their condition. They have also taken their conditions and have applied them to better their own lives by allowing their condition to show them different ways to do things and solve problems. They have also learned a level of compassion and love that people with out being born with conditions have a hard time achieving. We are not born with curses or something wrong with us, we are meant to learn, grow and show others something that can't be seen without having that blessing.

Genesis 1:31 says everything that God made is good.

And Deuteronomy 32:4 says, He is the Rock, His works are perfect, and all His ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is He.

God made mankind and the world perfect. That is how it was in the beginning. However satan's influence has caused imperfections down to this day. God is not to be blamed for autism or any other imperfection.

All humanity have something wrong with them. for you it is autism, and for others something else. No one is perfect.

Perhaps God did not make you autistic.
I don't know how that occurred in your case, but it is absent in communities that refuse to vaccinate their children.
Parents mean well, but tend to trust "medical professionals" way too much.

God gets blamed for a LOT of things that are not His fault. I'm not down on you for this. I think that a lot of priests and pastors teach this concept that God designed certain challenges in the majority of children. I've been exposed to such teachings far more from lost pastors than those who encourage mothers to live healthy lifestyles free of drugs and raise their children likewise.

Would you like a documentary on the subject of causes of autism Jaxy? Perhaps there's something that you can glean that would help you?
