I have a sense/feeling that somethnig is about to happen, does anybody else?

Hello, I am new here, so excuse me if I have posted it under the wrong section! I actually joined this site, to see if other Christians were having the same feelings as me. I have had a strange sense that something is finishing or that something big is just about to happen in the world. God does not seem to be saying anything specific to me. Also, things seem to be getting harder. I don't know if that is just my walk with God, but a little bit of research on the internet, a few people seem to think the same thing. I know, things have been very unsettled in the world recently, I guess it's that feeling of not knowing what God is doing and trusting Him!!! Just wonder if anybody had any thoughts. I have never felt like this before, so I guess that is what is making me research.
 
Does any part of the Bible make you feel this way? Mind to share the bible verses? :)
 
Absolutely, it seems scripture is being fufilled at a rampant speed. Not to mention the battles christians are facing these day's.
Especially the younger generaton

The verses below may be helpful.

1Co Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.

1Co 12:5 And there are diversities of ministrations, and the same Lord.

1Co 12:6 And there are diversities of workings, but the same God, who worketh all things in all.

1Co 12:7 But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit to profit withal.
1Co 12:8 For to one is given through the Spirit the word of wisdom; and to another the word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit:

1Co 12:9 to another faith, in the same Spirit; and to another gifts of healings, in the one Spirit;

1Co 12:10 and to another workings of miracles; and to another prophecy; and to another discernings of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; and to another the interpretation of tongues:

1Co 12:11 but all these worketh the one and the same Spirit, dividing to each one severally even as he will.
 
I have not sensed it but I have been hearing and seeing, and God showing me many things that are adding up to a world wide, 'something very bad is about to happen', thing.
I have been saying, that at least in the US, there is going to be a great persecution of Christian, like that of the Jews in Germany. There is too much preparation and too much slipping of the tongue for it to be ignored, or coincidental when it happens or when they deny or say they are preparing for something else.
Everyone should know that the world monetary system is going to collapse very soon now, causing a world wide economic crash that will be cataclysmic in nature, which I believe, will usher in anarchy, causing rioting, starvation for a lack of food, the spreading of incurable plagues, sicknesses, and diseases, which again I believe will open the way for a one world leader and government/order.
Everyone should know that the world's elite, who have great power/wealth and influence in the world, and basically are controlling the world's governments, want to see the world population down to Five hundred million, and some want it down to as little as one hundred million people, whom they referred to as cancer in the world. When asked how they would do this, they said, 'it might be a LITTLE crude, but you have to wipe them out'. [paraphrased]
Mat 24:32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
Mat 24:33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
I don't know much on the end times or exactly what these two verses are referring to, but for the purpose in which I am writing this warning, I put it in here.

Many women are more sensitive then men to spiritual things and to God's moving of the spirit.
My wife for instance has picks up much more than I do of what's going to happen before it actually does.
She has expressed the same unsettling and even urgency as you ma'am.
As for me, God usually shows me things through people and/or events in the natural. I usually see bad things coming, on a personal level, before they strike, which I believe is God showing me. I believe He is doing so again concerning the world events.
 
Hello, Thank you so much for your reply. The description you said your wife felt, "unsettling and even urgency", that describes it exactly. It seems to be getting more intense also. I guess God is preparing us for whatever is coming. I was just reflecting on what you said, and then the words Jude 1:23 came to me "Jude 1:23 save others by snatching them from the fire; to others show mercy, mixed with fear--hating even the clothing stained by corrupted flesh." It is talking about the "Last days", evangelism is my calling and it confirms (what we should all be doing anyway) that, but also again it is talking about urgency. Then when I thought about Jude, God kept giving me a picture of a man in white with a green sash, I kept thinking it was Jesus, tho briefly found out that St Jude is pictured like this. So after reading that scripture, I then re-read about Jude, and realise he is the patron saint of desparate situations/times and perservering through them. Which maybe again, God was trying to get my attention. (I am not a catholic, but I think God maybe have been trying to show me). So that all happened after reading your reply. Thank you! I also, for some strange reason have got an excited holy spirit flutter inside, maybe confirmation but also even if we have to suffer first, we are getting nearer to being with Jesus!!! I think most of us agree we are in the end times, but not the exact details, or events it is trusting God to see us through them. The last couple for years, God has really been working in me intensely, I have even been kept out of employment, because I don't think I could have coped with the intensity of it. The thing is , I couldn't see what was coming next and kept seeking God, but started getting that feeling/sense which has only get worse, then in the last couple of weeks, it seems like things are starting to be clearer, re: what is happening in the world and what you say could be imminent. Thank you again. Will keep trusting God. Whatever happens, we are in his hands!!
 
Thank you for your reply, I agree things are speeding up; although I evangelise, people are just carrying on as normal. I feel sad for others not knowing, I guess that is because it is my heart. Will keep on doing it though.

I think it is to press forward with urgency.

Which seems to be about the last days, and a sense of urgency with snatching others from the fire etc. So I am thinking it means about pressing forward unrelenting with my calling to evanglise. I have had alot of discouragement, but now I have to ignore that and keep going, definitely think something is coming in the world.

Me, too!! I'm not new, but I do a lot of research about this and we did enter a new phase in our world sometime after 1920.

I didn't start out with a feeling that something was about to happen, but with the feeling that I couldn't understand what scripture was saying in the Old Testament. I knew a God of love didn't ask me to sneer at the 613 laws He gave, or see my creator as a God wanting me to stone other people, so I was doing something wrong because that is what I saw in that OT.

It has taken me years of study. Perhaps we are on the brink of a great change, but there are also signs of wonders of the Lord. Most of these wonders come in the form of understanding the depth of love and compassion our God has for us. After the years of bad politics surrounding the finding of the dead sea scrolls died down and scholars learned from them, it seems to be a base for much opening up of OT understanding lost to us before.

Most of today's church preach Paul as saying that when it was explained to us that God in spirit and truth did not need to include any of the rituals and traditions as long as the spirit and truth was upheld, we were told to cancel a lot of what God taught. It is as if demons are there telling us to throw out the baby with the wash water.

When we don't get caught up in the politics of religion rather than being caught up in scripture, when we put the entire straight armor of the Lord around us and go to Christ to be cleansed, we have absolute security come (as the world tells us) hell or high water.

If you will make a study of the feasts we are told to use to celebrate our Lord working in our world, you will see a pattern in the months of the year certain things will happen. It never gives how it will happen logistically, it never gives the year anything will happen, but you can see the months what will happen. Don't let anyone is today's church know you do this if you are not prepared for having terrible accusations thrown against you for learning of this. These accusations are part of the sign of the last days.

Reminds me of this poem I wrote as a baby christian forty years ago...

Hello, thank you for your reply. That is a great poem and very timely for right now. Evangelism is my calling and I have been having to push through negativity and my own fears, so that poem has really helped me be more determined. That is really a blessing. Thank you. :)

i haven't sensed anything imminent...maybe in twenty years...
