I made a bad error in the title of my post. Can it be changed?

Hello,

I just posted a topic in BDF and later realize I misspelled Bible in the title. I wrote Binle instead. Is there a way to change it? Most any other word I could probably live with, but I consider the Bible too important to misspell.

Thank you

I saw it and I knew what you meant. You will have to contact a moderator to correct it for you. :)

Yeah, what MPW said

I think it can be edited within the five min edit time just like other posts, but after that, only the mods have the magic power of fixing it

I was trying to do that through this thread, but now that you mention it, I can PM a moderator of the BDF. Thanks.

I would leave it the way it is. That thread has character(s).

The best way to avoid this is checking your post before sending it. Mods really only care to edit posts that are against the rules or have a significant reason behind removing content, such as too much personal information. Minor issues such as typos and misspellings are not something they want to go around fixing all the time. They may, or may not, fix it this time, but they won't keep doing it if you continually make mistakes. Sometimes you just have to learn to let things be as they are or take the time to ensure it's right the first time.

I try to check my post very thoroughly every time I post. This one just slipped by anyway. If it were any other word I would not have mentioned it.

I started this thread because I forgot about contacting the moderators. DUH on me.
