I remember cashing in two week's chore earnings into tokens to play Defender at the arcade and tearing that game up so good I rolled the score counter over.

I remember being county champion at Space Invaders. I could have kept going, but I reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally had to go to the bathroom. I took one minute, had three lives on the game still, but when I came back hubby lost all three lives. lol

I remember in grade school standing up at our desks after the first bell rang. We would look at the American flag in the corner, place our hands over our hearts and say the Pledge of Allegiance in unison.

I specifically remember that no one at the time was offended...No, not even one.

Midnight in Paris is about wanting to live in a different time era. It's a good movie, watch it sometime. It's on Netflix.

I liked that movie. Woody Allen, sleaze he is, still a creative mind.

That's why we still have the term "on the rag". It worked for thousands of years.

Then again, I plan on living alone in my simplified life. I can't tolerate the nagging of a woman in the 21st century, so making one "rough it" is kind of like slapping a grizzly bear. I'm foolish and silly, but not stupid.

Now there is a term I have not heard in decades...
