What I know, what I share does not go with the flow. So of course it won't make sense to many.

However as said I am still a witness to things unfolding according to Almighty God's hand unfortunately for you or anyone else that doesn't change. If I said I wasn't then I would be a liar. Now I didn't seek out this knowledge I wasn't smarter than anyone else but I was made aware of world events unfolding since 2020…

Then there is the question if you found someone could you sustain the relationship especially in such trying and difficult times and then particularly if it is a long distance one.

I've had a couple of long distance relationships and they didn't work out because they were too far away or weren't interested in making it work

Again today the realisation burns inside of me and why I started this topic / thread in the first place.

Torn between two parts of myself an inner longing for a serious relationship having next to nothing currently and the knowledge that I know what is coming. I don't have the bliss of ignorance and what I know wouldn't just disappear for I see it unfolding all the time. Which is why I said I would need to find someone who also was aware because it is impossible to shake what I know…

It is hard it separates you because the truth is everyone in the Christian circle it seems wants to blessings but they have forgotten that those that are His will be hated by the world. It has to be that way as light cannot have fellowship with darkness and yet… ignorance prevails

Ignorance is blissful only during the process of the journey but certainly not at the end when the inevitability plays out...

That is why I know that it would be impossible to have a relationship without their being a comraderie of knowing what is coming turning our back on the world and seeing Almighty God, Jesus's hands unfold for His glory.

Why does he keep posting it over and over though? If I made it up in my mind that something is what it is, I do whatever needs to be done without posting about it over and over. To me, someone who does that is fishing for something they don't want to say right out.

People are complicated and messy. Even Christians, because they can often be zealous without knowledge, can be unpredictable. And we all have idiosyncracies. Humans are an odd breed.

Hope deferred makes the heart sick; if he kills the hope it can't be deferred. I know you said you're looking for an online job, but even a part-time job that's not "impressive" is going to look better to a lady than what you are currently doing (or not doing lol ). I think your whole outlook would improve if you were able to provide something for yourself too. Just a thought!

Also him repeating over an over that he has no money but wants a romantic relationship is not giving his desire to marry and his poor financial situation over to the Lord. That's the real solution to how to cope with hope deferred.

When a real Christian does that, God actually gives them peace and strength to continue as they wait patiently, and to accept gracefully if God says "no". They won't need to post about it over and over. That's why it's so odd that he keeps posting about it.

Anyway, women (with money) should be wary on the internet (and even meeting people face to face) when some guy keeps saying they're poor but would like to a romantic relationship. Over and over.

Probably a waste of my time to elaborate... I posted that yesterday as that is how I felt nothing for or less ... I am not interested in finding some woman with money but you have literally no idea about the situation in South Africa... You do not know the dynamics at play and yet you think you know things... You are in for a very rude awakening... Especially when you literally know nothing about anything oh but you will...

It is for this reason I know I can never reach such apparent churchy people like yourself. Nor do I want to. I didn't gel along with them in the past and I do not especially now. I prefer real people who don't try and hide behind this church culture. Who call a spade and spade so to speak. You keep carrying on...

Since you try to reach out in understanding... I don't want to repeat myself what I said in the start of this post is the same. If you knew that calamity was headed your way would you seek out a relationship? Knowing that you had no guarantees past the present of it, not having the usual assurance that there was time to do things...

I wouldn't want to play around with someone else's heart and it wouldn't be fair. ( Which is why I previously said what I said ) What I had up to 2020 was taken away through corruption. This corruption is intrinsically tied to South Africa and has been for 30 years. There are economic policies targeting only a specific sector of the population that make it virtually impossible to get a part time job... Online work is the only option for me. There isn't anything else... Not with the way things are.

I appreciate your encouragement I truly do but we are from different worlds (I therefore can't expect you to understand) I have surrendered my life not as just something a Christian strives to do but it is in fact a reality for me in my situation and everything in has been since 2020... I have had to give up everything to follow Him on the path that He placed me upon...

No lol, I am telling you to evacuate here because even with all the conflicts / issues here it will be still be far better than being in the direct line of fire in WW3. Which the USA will be.

South Africa will be for His people alone, in time and will be the last Christian refuge on earth. It will be complete separation from the world.

Hi 2ndTime, I see the OP is no longer a member but figured I'd clarify my point anyway-

I only meant to imply that I had been to the mental place where the OP was coming from, I did not mean to imply that it was a good place to be haha. I even still catch myself visiting there on occasion. But you're correct that I try not to splatter that stuff all over the forums, and when I do feel it start creeping back in I recognize it pretty quickly and hand it back over to Jesus. I don't think the OP has fully done that, he might think he has but like you said if it had really clicked he wouldn't be smearing it around so bad.

I did identify with his conundrum somewhat though, there are multiple reasons why I would be hesitant to marry and many of them are for the sake of the other person and how my life might affect his. But I try to remind myself that God knows best, and as a guy in a dream once told me, "Depriving yourself of something God wants you to have is a type of false morality". Stung a bit when I heard it but it's true...and something I try to keep in mind when I start telling myself what God would or wouldn't want for me.
