If you use 0 electricity you will emit 0 greenhouse gases. So just a helpful reminder for all those in Canada, if the electricity does go out do not burn wood in the fireplace. It emits greenhouse gases. :)

@JaumeJ what are your thoughts on this topic since you live in Spain?

Thank you.
Spain has been utilizing solar and wind powered devices since I first moved here in 1985, timidly at first then practically full blast.
If it is ecologically sound, I am completely for it, but I am not qualified to make that discernment without further study.
I used to live near Signal Hill in Long beach, Ca. The stench was something to behold, but only when the wind was in the correct direction to be sensing it.
Petroleum has had its place , now let us witness it passing on, though not likely in this century, not as long as money does all the talking.

But you just experienced how unstable your solar/wind generated electric grid is... any thoughts on that specifically? Maybe imploding the nuclear energy plants wasn't such a great idea.

Surely France didn't turn off your sunshine or shut down your wind??? What went wrong? Why didn't you just replace that French energy and keep the trains running?

I cannot dictate the power compdany*ies( of Europe, nor of the Eu. The main company here is Iberdrola, you may take tat one up with them. As for the wind and solar production, if I am not mistaken they are mainly for augmenting the companyps production. I do know it has alleviated much of the high charges for power.
Agian, I do not believe I am qualified to be judge and jury for such activity, though many believe they are such.
Write to the company. Ask them,a nd do not createy arguments including me. Thank you.

I believe you may have headed off a troublesome exchange with a troublesome person.
French power may have been nuclear generated.
bless you brother.

Trouble seems to follow me. And it has a name.

Living that was doesn't line up with the Christian walk.

it just means disagree, an emotionally mature person does not seek to be triggered, you have my pity.

You've dished out more than two thousand of them. While warning others of "troublesome" people.

Call me a skeptic if you wish, but you have earned yourself a bit of a credibility problem on the issue.

Might want to sit this one out. --of course you are free to disagree.
