Addresses how the apostle Paul's letters contain complex teachings. It warns that untaught and unstable
individuals twist these difficult concepts to their own ruin, just as they distort other parts of Scripture.

'Ponder this truth carefully.
Matthew 7:13

Grandpa's Hands
by Anonymous

Grandpa, some ninety plus years, sat feebly on the patio bench. He didn't move, just sat with his head down staring at his hands.
When I sat down beside him he didn't acknowledge my presence and the longer I sat I wondered if he was OK.
Finally, not really wanting to disturb him but wanting to check on him at the same time, I asked him if he was OK.
He raised his head and looked at me and smiled. "Yes, I'm fine, thank you for asking," he said in a clear strong voice.

"I didn't mean to disturb you, Grandpa, but you were just sitting here staring at your hands and I wanted to make sure you were OK," I explained to him.
"Have you ever looked at your hands," he asked. "I mean really looked at your hands?"
I slowly opened my hands and stared down at them. I turned them over, palms up and then palms down. No, I guess I had never really looked at my hands as I tried to figure out the point he was making. Grandpa smiled and related this story:
"Stop and think for a moment about the hands you have, how they have served you well throughout your years. These hands, though wrinkled, shriveled and weak have been the tools I have used all my life to reach out and grab and embrace life.

"They braced and caught my fall when as a toddler I crashed upon the floor.
"They put food in my mouth and clothes on my back.
"As a child my Mother taught me to fold them in prayer.
"They tied my shoes and pulled on my boots.
"They held my rifle and wiped my tears when I went off to war.
"They have been dirty, scraped and raw, swollen and bent.
"They were uneasy and clumsy when I tried to hold my newborn son.
"Decorated with my wedding band they showed the world that I was married and loved someone special.
"They wrote the letters home and trembled and shook when I buried my Parents and Spouse and walked my Daughter down the aisle.
"Yet, they were strong and sure when I dug my buddy out of a foxhole and lifted a plow off of my best friend's foot.
"They have held children, consoled neighbors, and shook in fists of anger when I didn't understand.
"They have covered my face, combed my hair, and washed and cleansed the rest of my body.
"They have been sticky and wet, bent and broken, dried and raw.
"And to this day when not much of anything else of me works real well these hands hold me up, lay me down, and again continue to fold in prayer.

"These hands are the mark of where I've been and the ruggedness of my life.
"But more importantly it will be these hands that God will reach out and take when he leads me home.
"And with my hands He will lift me to His side and there I will use these hands to touch his face."
I will never look at my hands the same again. But I remember God reached out and took my Grandpa's hands and led him home.
When my hands are hurt or sore or when I stroke the face of my children and wife I think of Grandpa. I know he has been stroked and caressed and held by the hands of God. I, too, want to touch the face of God and feel His hands upon my face.

When you READ this, say a prayer and watch God's answer to prayer work in your life.
Let's continue praying for one another .

Have a Great Day. Be glad in this day, in Body, Mind and Spirit, in the NOW!!
Love and Peace

Endless Love

**'Consumerism is the belief that buying and owning material goods is the key to happiness and well-being.
It is a social and economic culture where acquiring products becomes a central focus of daily life,
often extending far beyond purchasing basic necessities.

**'Conceivably, within the Christian community, there are those that appear vacant of
actually being guided by the Holy Spirit. The ego has a way of derailing the Holy Spirit.
Know this and know it well. The ego thrives on planning and control, while the Holy Spirit
relies on present-moment surrender and trust. Self-centeredness focuses on one's personal
agenda in hopes of impressing the audience. "Language" often reveals true personality.

**'No more, no less. To expect otherwise, one may be out of touch with reality,
here in the now. The depth and unknowns that surround the life and times of
Jesus are insurmountable to fully grasp. Attempting to do so surely has left society
greatly divided and spewing "worldly foolishness".

'The complexity of the Bible" reflects the widely held theological and scholarly consensus that
its vast collection of ancient texts is too profound, diverse, and historically layered for any
single human to fully conquer or comprehensively understand.

'Becoming angry or defensive when confronted with factual reality reveals deep pride and disrespect.
Instead of accepting reality, the reaction demonstrates a haughty refusal to acknowledge anything that
challenges one's own ego or beliefs.

**'There are individuals who are "constitutionally incapable of being honest with themselves,"
and therefore "naturally incapable of grasping and developing a manner of living which demands rigorous honesty".

**'A lost soul refers to an individual who is adrift—morally, emotionally, or existentially—and disconnected
from divine purpose. They are in need of spiritual truth because this state of disconnection often leads

to a life of searching, inner emptiness, or a deep yearning for meaning that the material world cannot satisfy.

**'Being "spiritually dysfunctional" highlights a gap between the faith people claim to have and how they actually live.
Instead of manifesting the "fruits of the spirit"—such as love, joy, patience, and kindness—these individuals may struggle with consistent judgment, hypocrisy, unresolved trauma, or codependency.

'A spiritually dysfunctional believer often remains in a state of arrested growth. This could mean they rely entirely on superficial or "Sunday-only" faith, or they use religious language as a mechanism to avoid addressing deep emotional wounds, resulting in "spiritualized dysfunction".

'When scripture is interpreted without the guiding influence of the Holy Spirit, it can indeed become "toxic,"
leading to legalism, spiritual abuse, or justifications for hatred.

This dynamic occurs because the written word relies on the Spirit's illumination to reflect the nature of God.
Without it, the
text is reduced to literalistic "letter" that kills, rather than a living message of grace that gives life.

**'One of the strongest reasons that make people slander others is envy, which the bible describes
as rottenness (meaning a spiritual disease) to the bones.

**'Signifies an individual's bold, unconditional surrender to God's calling. It is a willing and eager response
to serve, demonstrating complete availability to do God's work without knowing where it will lead.

**'Rather than relying strictly on human logic or natural intellect, these Christians perceive God's will
and wisdom by having their minds illuminated by the Spirit.

'It is a common observation that while the Holy Spirit is frequently discussed, truly living a life led by the
Spirit requires a deep, intentional surrender.

Faith traditions suggest that being led by the Spirit—rather than just talking about it—transforms faith
from an intellectual belief into an active, daily reality. This involves cultivating spiritual disciplines,
practicing discernment, and aligning one's actions with biblical fruits such as love, joy, and peace.

'Truth often stands out, but the spiritually blind see not. Self-serving agenda's often hinders the truth.

Thank you for the messages that you post.

I find that my thoughts while I am alone always bring me closer to God than at any other time.

'Thank you for sharing. Yes, I too find away from distractions and a quiet time surely allows thoughts
to hopefully align with a closer time with Christ. A time for prayer and sometimes to redirect our selves.
God Bless.

**'Disturbing as it is, surely this is taking place with the Christian communities.
Be not deceived by the worldly foolishness being abundantly, more and more forthcoming.

The self-centered surely are lost in their efforts to attract an audience.
