One of my granddaughter's has one growing out of her palm.
I don't have one either.

this verse does NOT say God is outside of time.
It says his TIME is BIGGER.

God cannot be fully understood and we stand in amazement.
Think of it this way.....
If I make a watch,,,,,,am I part of that watch?
God made time,,,,is He part of that time?
Or is it something He made?
I think that the vastness of space is an example of just how infinite and eternal our God is. What a great question

Imagine the distance...........a galaxy that is 1 trillion light years a way.....and 300 billion light years across......traveling 186,000 miles per second it would take 1 trillion years to get there and then 300 billion years to cross it.......and that is as far as they can see (according to them and their instruments)
and yet they say we know this and we know that etc.......I dare to say that our knowledge (what man thinks he knows) is nothing much at the end of the day..........
We cannot even begin to grasp the depth of God and his infinite knowledge... sliver of light here a sliver of light there.................unsearchable riches of knowledge.............
I do not see the word BIGGER and or GOD having time in that verse anywhere......
It also says...
A thousand years is as a day and a thousand years is as but yesterday when it is past.....God is not subject unto time.....he is a God of timing, but not subject unto it........
HE dwells in LIGHT, is LIGHT and dwells in ETERNITY...............maybe study the words.............!!!

God is a creator....He's always creating.
They thought the universe would expand and then burst,,,,now they say it'll go on "forever" or until God wants.
We can go to the big bang....
But what was before that???

I use the keyword search in multiple versions of the bible on biblegateway.com to research such things.....
it is a very useful tool for such questions.
for example....keyword search "GOD is not subject unto time" = 0 results
(KJV)
then you can just do a search for GOD and TIME...and kinda go over those.

my opinion on this matter.
I have though at length on this very issue in my studies...and I only come to two conclusions.
(once again only my opinion not forcing this on anyone)
since the time discrepancy is so very detailed in that verse...."One day to go is as one thousand years to man"....
and from other books....( this is the BD forum so I will not quote them)
I think it is in reference to either
1) orbital differences
Einstein said time/space are the same things
therefore to increase one is to increase the other
or
2) a virtual hologram type existence

Now, on this view I will say the following.....the things seen are not made of what they appear to be made of.....and we do know that atoms vibrate at particular frequencies...........it does seem quite plausible that it is all a big construct and or matrix style universe........even water does very strange things when subject to different frequencies.........and it also states that all things are upheld or sustained by the word of his power....in Greek -->stands together and all things will be dissolved at the end.....so.....there may be something to this view........
