You forgot to say "FAKE NEWS". The lies and deception perpetrated by the MSM daily and for years cannot be understood, unless we see that they are controlled by the Father of Lies. No integrity, no professionalism, no investigative journalism, no truth. And no apologies for the lies and deception either. The damage done to America and Americans cannot be measured. A "free press" became a propaganda mouthpiece for extreme Leftist beliefs. But this became a worldwide phenomenon. Even PRAVDA had more integrity in its day.

It is interesting that you blame all the mainstream media for to publish fake news. But you cant tell me the name of the sources you hold for the true Media.
 
Many people have a very strong desire to ""Fit in"" because they see conformity as an avenue to personal safety and social acceptance and promotion...

Many people think that main stream media is a reliable source of information on what is established truth in our greater society.. To them what ever main stream media says is the majority positon of people in society..

Of course a lot of main stream media is owned by a very small section of the population who have vested interests in pushing an agenda.. So main stream media is a tool of manipulation in the service of a very small elite minority,, often pursuing agendas detrimental to the creater society but advantagous to the controling minority..

Oh and i read a comment in this thread,, That we Christians should be focused on conforming to our LORD's agenda, His desire of how we should move in our lives, His desire as to what we should hold valuable.. I very much agree with this.. We are not supposed to be products of conforming to the standards of the worldly.. We are supposed to bare fruit derived from the fertilization of the Word of God..

Yes, but if you say mainstream media is in danger to manipulate us. What are then the other medias? First which Media is there so trustful ? and second do they not also belong to someone. Is there not also the danger to manipulate us?
I dont know the American Media System. In germany are so many different directions build the "mainstream" that it is difficult to hide certain news.
The problem I see is, that through questioning the medias generell you sewing misstrust. And you get open for other sources, without checking them.

Any Media can manipulate and push an agenda .. mainstream or the kind of small media that sits on online computer sites like Utube and others.. But usually those types of media make it clear where their loyalties lay.. The main stream media claims to be unbiased and just giving the masses the Pure News.. But of course their journalists are not journalists they are activists..

As for the USA most of the syndicated main stream news corporations like ABC NBC CNN and FOX make the claim that they only give the news as it is.. I know in Europe there have been media organisations who make it clear they are either a leftist or rightists or conservative or liberal.. But in the USA most of the main stream put forward that they are neutral which is a lie..

As for me i don't think any media source is unbiased.. Some are more extreme then others and they are obvious to everyone but the most brain washed / Naive individual..

My personal method is to make sure i know the bias of the news organization before i listen to it.. In that way i can listen and know if they are saying one thing and the media on the other extreme is saying another thing then the truth i somewhere in the middle.. Although it is hard for me to listen to leftist / liberal media.. I find myself rolling my eyes listening to all the politically correct and woke indoctrination they are pushing out.. I am a conservative Christian so that tells you why..

Oh and another thing Media checking organizations are themselves BIASED.. Never listen to anything they say..

My Dad explained this to me when I was a kid, he worked for UPI, he said that all newspapers (except for the tabloids) were not profitable. In other words there was another motive for companies to have a news service other than profit (tabloids being the exception). They are all pushing an agenda, one way or another they have to keep the lights on. I listen to Steve Bannon, but his agenda is in your face. Trump has an agenda, Biden has an agenda, everyone of the politicians has an agenda. You don't raise millions of dollars for a campaign unless your agenda aligns with your donors.

The issue is are they honest, up front, and transparent about their agenda?

I heard one lady in Chicago very upset because she had voted for a candidate on the understanding that his agenda was to take money from the rich and give it to the poor. When she voted she assumed the poor meant her, but now that this guy is elected she finds out that she is the "rich" that he is taking money from and he is giving it to illegal aliens. I thought this was funny. She obviously misunderstood his agenda.

In the same way who can afford to have reporters all over the world covering every story, every war? The people who will profit from how the public reacts to the stories. If the public reacts by supporting the war, then the arms dealers and manufacturers will profit. If the public reacts by demanding a vaccine be mandated to the whole world then the vaccine manufacturer will profit.
