Good question. I think most people care greatly about fitting in. Christians should only care about fitting in with Jesus. He told us wide is the way... narrow is the way... Anyone fitting in should worry which path they are on. Those who do Eph. 5:11 will be hated, called names and ridiculed by the god of this world and his followers.
