The legendary fountain of youth is claimed to be located somewhere in Florida. Is this why old folks in retirement migrate to Florida. I don't know.
We actually went there and saw it when I was a kid in the 70s. It didn't look like anything special. We were there to visit relatives and go to Disneyworld. I believe the fountain was in St. Augustine. Near there was Ripley's Believe It Or Not museum. A lot of interesting and weird stuff there.

This is the actual Fountain of Youth discovered by Ponce De Leon in St Augustine, FL

What I read said that, supposedly, Ponce de Leon happened on a body of crystal-clear water and noticed the unusually youthful appearance of the natives that lived within its proximity. The article mentioned there was seaweed growing in the water and that was what was actually affecting their youthful condition. Anyway, I bought their product to give it a try, and now always have it on hand in such cases I especially need to feel more energetic, which happens a lot now. :p

Of all the places I've been, I enjoyed Greece the most. That was a long time ago, though, before Greece joined the E.U. Back then the dollar went a long way which made the place easy to enjoy. It's probably much different now, but I wouldn't mind checking it out again.

Since I don't see myself going overseas anymore, I think I'll go to Baton Rouge for some crawdads.

In about 2 and 1/2 weeks I am going to take the most favorite vacation of all in the whole wide world. I'm going to hole up, either in my house or in a motel room, lock the door and pretend the world does not exist for 8 days.

For somebody as imaginative as I this may seem shockingly bland, but I love it for a vacation. It's very peaceful and relaxing. Incredibly restful.

I would love to visit Europe someday 🥰 😍 to experience the magical Northern lights, the beautiful old buildings and historic landmarks Eiffel Tower, Big Ben,Thingvellier National Park,Harpa Concert Hall and many more 😍I would love to travel by train from one country to another if that's possible I want to experience that too 🥰

Rotorua - thermal spas, mud pools, geysers
Sydney - see Opera House, Harbour Bridge, Taronga Zoo, eat aussie prawns
Possibly Fiji or New Caledonia - it's warm and can stay in a nice resort, be lazy read a book in hammock and sip coconuts, tropical fish, swim in an atoll
Train across Canada - for the amazing scenery and not have to drive, just stay on the train

Locally I enjoyed Rotoroa Island, when went with a friend, we had the whole island nearly to ourselves. Just had to share it with some birds.

Hopefully I get to go to the first two this year.

I have been to over 20 countries and I'm old and worn out. I want to go home to the Lord. That said, I'd like to go to Montana and maybe stay.
