hmm seriously in my case, i don't really go out and meet people., there are just so many people at home :D and i love them, and when i go to work,, so many people again, lol haha with different attitudes but its good cause we all learn from each other. and hmmm.. thats just work and home, not to mention the folks at church hahah, soo many people in this small world of mine, and f i wasnt meeting people online, i would havehad more time for some other things but not meeting people anymore lol
 
I'm losing sympathy all the time for people who want to meet that special someone but they don't try the internet. I know the arguements against it, and I respectfully disagree with those arguements. I've said it before and I'll say it again, if you think God wants you to get married, don't assume He'll never ask you to get out of your comfort zone and do some work about meeting people. If you want to meet people, be deliberate about it. It's good to be open to date people from church and other places where you could run into Christian singles, but keep all your options open. If you want to get married but have not tried the internet to meet people, don't think I'll feel sorry for you.
 
I don't really meet many new people, I tend to stay at home alot aswell. It's a habit I need to work on.
 
I'm new here, so forgive me if I come across the wrong way; however, I meet people all the time, I meet women all the time... Really all you need to do is converse... As to Christianity, your words, actions and attitude will deliver that quickly. Well that is if you aren't ashamed to stand up for what you believe in and then use that as an opportunity to witness if nothing else. It is my experience that the women I come in contact with are very easy to talk to as long as you present yourself appropiately.

I know who I am in Christ and I try to protray the love of Christ in my everyday interactions. The gist is that you must influence people and not let the wrong people influence you... ie the intended meaning of Christ stating that we are to let our light shine out into the darkness... forgive the paraphrase.

And even so my intention here is not to encourage in the wrong fashion; but simply to say we shouldn't retreat into norms of solitude, but naturally as we have the opportunity to do so, reach out to others. In the process you will be pleasantly surprised at what you find.

I'm usually at school or roming around on the Riverwalk downtown.
 
If your trying to meet a guy, i would suggest hangin out in front of mens restrooms, preferably in a public place..... tons of them go in and out of there all the time...... Bring some toilet paper with you, when you see one you might like......... just smile and say........... toilet paper??? Good conversation starter.... and it makes a great..... how me and your mother met story
 
yeah i think the majority of CCers stay at home on friday nights and just chat it up! I think Cc is an awesome way to meet people and friends but not online relationships! they tend to not work but some do! I know for now as long as im content where i am at then God is going to bring you that loved one to spend the rest of your life with even if you end up dropping a can of green beens on his foot at the grocery store! God seems to work things like that out that are just incrediably funny! HAHA

This part really helps! I stand firm towards it. But at times, I kinda wonder where is she. Right now, I am away from my home country, home church, etc. I'm at a new place, meeting a few (I wish it would be more) new people and hopefully obeying God's will on my life. But as I run that race you talk about, I tend to look who else is running by my side...and I see no one around :S

So I'm kind of dependent on meeting someone through some random chance encounter, and let's face it, the odds of that aren't so good! I should just become a nun. :P

I guess I should through away my degree and become an ELED teacher, 99% female job! well that's a place to meet people (if you are a guy)
