Is 'fignoring' short for "figuratively ignoring"...?
So - how do you feel being the only one to post on a thread - with not even an OP?
Hmm, I see what you did there... 
At first glance, fignoring appears to be short for "figuratively ignoring" but, hidden within the soft, golden cake-like exterior there's a delightfully sweet fruit paste.
I've only known of Nabisco's. Are there are other brands? But I do remember, albeit vaguely, a recipe for them somewhere in these threads. I used to luuv fig newtons when at a time when I was more partial towards sweets, but since I've gradually moved further away from sweets and sours and I'm finding my lean toward salts and bitters, besides more convenience, I'd rather just put a bit of fig spread on lightly toasted crostini.
While I have been sitting here reading posts and posting - I have been eating fig preserves on crackers.
However, in the more-general big-picture of things, I am moving away from sugar and carbs towards a higher percentage of protein in my diet - which means eventually totally giving up doing things like this.
Oh, well - it is for the better...

I'm feeling very blissful lately. I guess I've been ignoring everyone. But I'm wondering, does that make me a moron? I'm really not sure about that.
There's this button called the ignore button, but there's no button called the ignoramoron button.. it would make someone an ignoramus.
I mean who got time to read all dem posts and respond to them? People could be saying horrible things about me! And they'll start thinking I'm deaf cos I don't hear them. Oh dear.

It's like you have burn book of all the people you want to insult/put down and that gives you some kind of immunity. Uh no. They didn't even do anything to you. Nobody is pretending to be a saint here. I think we're all just learning to be saints.
If there are those who ARE proclaiming themselves to be saints, I'd guess that the mormons have arrived. They aren't morons, just mormons.
You haven't seen them? There are quite a few people running around here claiming to be saints, and loudly decrying everybody else here as unwashed heathens.

I have next door neighbours who are mormons, but they don't bother me and I don't bother them...too much. Ever since the daughter claimed I stole their cat, we have not been on speaking terms.
The thing is Sparky liked to come over and hang out with us because they were not feeding him properly. He was so hungry that he stole a defrosting chicken off our kitchen bench. I caught him red-clawed, in the act. So pot calling kettle black.
Sparky was a fat ginger cat, so he was more like a Garfield. When he started to look skinny, something was wrong with him. We forgave him because he didn't steal the fresh meet, he stole the frozen meat. I mean you have to be pretty desperate to go after and eat a frozen chicken.
Read your Bible. Anyone who is born-again is in fact a saint - in the Biblical sense, of course - not in the Catholic sense or any [other] modern worldly sense. This has nothing to do with an outward show of pride, being on a pedestal, etc. - it is simply how the Bible uses the word saint. Saints are born-again believers.

Of course they never can get Saint Olichnaya to help. He's always drunk. And Saint Ingy never wants to pay the bill.
Well if they ever get in a bind we can call St John's ambulance in a genuine emergency. Or Hato Hone as Maori call him.
If Saint Lynx is tanking (or taking) a nap up in a tree and gets stuck and can't get back down, we'll just call the fire department to go rescue him. They'll either send a ladder up or squirt water at him with a hose.
