Hi everybody!
I'm Kes and I am stoked to be here.
Ok so I am very new to faith and have just recently started to read the Bible to learn more about God and Jesus and I am really enjoying it so far. However it is not without it's challenges. Because of how I was raised I have little to no knowledge of the Bible and that makes it difficult to wrap my head around some of this stuff. So My hope is I can throw out some questions and get back some answers, here goes!
1) So in John 17:12 it says "...None has been lost except the one doomed to destruction so that the Scripture would be fulfilled"
Q: Does that means that God allowed Judas to be tempted so that he would betray Jesus? And if thats the case, then isn't that kind of like Judas being sacrificed? Why would he do that? and What would have happened if Judas hadn't betrayed Jesus? Would there have been no crucifixion?
2) If God knows that humans all have wicked hearts but He loves us anyway, then why would he allow hell to exist or allow people to end up there?
3)What was the significance of Peter denying he knew Jesus? Why did he do it? And why did Jesus predict it?
Thank you in advance for all your help!
