I am new here. A minister, I do not belong to a particular branch. I follow the bible.

The Lord is my strength and my shield;
my heart trusts in him, and he helps me.
My heart leaps for joy,
and with my song I praise him.

Psalm: 28:7

Hello Michael. Your introduction indicates that you are a minister in Norway. We are glad you have joined us. Question... Nynorsk and Bokmal were at one time minority languages. Are they still spoken today and by whom and in what part of Norway? Do you use these languages in church? Glad you have joined us. Welcome! :)

Ive lived in various regions. Trøøndersk is simple, but bergens is difficult, sounds as if they have a potato stuck in their throat.

Do you speak Swedish? I think our member @Susanna does?
Jag kan prata svenska, det är inga problem. De flesta skandinaviska språk är likadana.

Jeg kan snakke svenskt, det er null problem. De fleste skaninaviske språker er like.

I can speak Swedish, it's no problem. Most Scanian languages are similar.

Norway is a very beautiful and clean country. I have visited Oslo and Bergen but not the north. Have you visited the North Cape? Hammerfest is where Santa Claus lives! His reindeer love the snow! Merry Christmas! :)

The black sand beaches and seascapes are stunning! Though I have never been... just seen
in movies and series, the likes of which now as an older adult, I do not mind foreign films
as I did when I was younger, so I have seen quite a few... One series was called Bergen!

Foreign series I have seen:
The Golden Hour, which has to do with terrorist attacks in the Netherlands.
Belgium (
Rough Diamonds), Iceland (Trapped, and Entrapped [English follow-up],
plus,
The Valhalla Murders) Norway, Sweden (Young Wallender),
Switzerland (
Audrey), Netherlands (The Golden Hour), Denmark (Borgen),
Germany (
Dark), Finland (Deadwind).

Etc. I have seen all those. Many are murder/mystery type cop shows. All bolded titles are links to imdb.

There was also Shetland, from Scotland, an excellent series.

I liked the main actress in Deadwind so much that I used her in one of my panels ,:D

The Oslo Region is ok, but alot of crime, I recommend tromsø and the northern lights:

The capital of the Arctic, Tromsø, is located right in the middle of Northern Norway. If your bucket list includes the northern lights, whale watching, the midnight sun, and epic nature adventures, this is definitely where you want to go.

Enjoy superb conditions for ski touring, biking and hiking in the lyngefjort region. experience the Sami culture in towns like ksrsdjok and Alta, and enter the northernmost point of Europe at the north gape.

In the eastern part of this vast region, you’ll find the Varanger peninsula, which is a bird watcher’s paradise. Go king crab fishing and dog sledding in kirkenes and Varanger, where you also can spend an unforgettable night in an ice hotel.

In the areas surrounding Tromsø, several unique islands are waiting to be explored, includingn Senja, Kvaløya, and Sommarøy.

Yes, I believe that would be an "unforgettable night"!
