I always wish my mom had stayed pregnant four more days so my birthday would be 8/8/88. LOL
Glad that you popped in to say hi. We all were new once so just relax and be yourself. Congrats also on the milestone birthday on Saturday. I was 30 once but that was over half a lifetime ago. Oh yeah, if there had been anyway to get married on 8/8/88, we definitely would have. I remember that many chose to be married on that date that year, even though 8/8/88 was on a Monday. For us, that would have meant that many of our out-of-town friends and family would have had to skip the event, so we went with Saturday instead. It worked, as we had more the 600 in attendance at both our ceremony and reception.~Deut

Well there's many places....Birmingham, Montgomery, almost EVERYBODY goes down to Gulf Shores for the beach of course....lol, but I'd say if you want to visit a good place, come visit Huntsville, my hometown, home of downtown NASA, and a great place to explore history and enjoy great hospitality!
